What I didn’t could be engraved on the head of a pin and still have room left over for The Lord’s Prayer. This book was awesome! The humor! The humor was everything. Moose, who is one of the best characters ever, is back and he has even more crazy stories and in this book, some of them are supported by subsequent events and with confirmation from other people. Most of them are too spicy to print and I want to continue to be permitted to post on this website, so I’ll refrain. Rook and the boys are also present and accounted for, as Rook continues to wield his weaponized grumpiness and curmudgeonly abilities. Ghost, who has a uniquely twisted frame of mind also is the most concerned about the triumph of True Love, and he is so delightful.
There were elements of humor in what was the unique love story, which started when she drugged him, and even elements of humor in the violent scenes, which made them easier to read without cheapening them. There were also serious moments of emotion. Their love lasted past the laughter. And his guilt at killing her brother was as heartbreaking as her feelings of grief. But the humor connects this book.

Smokey is the fourth book in the Steel Reapers MC series. I am not sure how I feel about this one. The interaction between Smokey and Alex irritated me until about midway through the story. It was obvious where they were headed, but their constant bickering was nerve-racking. Their hatred for each other never really came off as genuine, which almost had me rating this one three stars. What bumped it up a star is the characters, drama, and action. Also, we get to watch this MC continue to grow into an official MC.

What works is that the humor and wit of the members of the Steel Reapers, their ole ladies, Moose, as well as Seraphina's weirdness keep you engaged. I would not call this one a page-turner, but it is certainly entertaining with drama, action, very hot and steamy romance, and tons of humor.

Smokey has really stepped in it this time. A life or death situation has occurred and now he has a decision to make. Alexandra has always been part of the MC life, but when tragedy strikes, she reels from the results. Can these two broken souls find each other to make themselves complete? Well, I guess you'll have to read to find out!
The humor and insane monologues are all present including Moose's vibrant sexual escapade stories. So far, out of all the authors I've read, Zahra Girard is the only one who can pull off this style of writing. Always an interesting and adventurous read!.

MC Romance books are one of my favorite genre books to read. I always enjoy reading these kinds of books because I find them to be fully entertaining. Once I read the blurb for this book, I just knew I had to read the entire thing. Once I got started reading the book, I got completely hooked. I couldn’t set my kindle down before finishing the book. I absolutely LOVED the characters, the plot and the outcome for the book. I also found this book to be well-written. I would recommend this book to other readers to give this book a read.

A great MC story. We follow Smokey and Alexandra. She wants revenge on him for Smokey's murder of her brother. But nothing is as it seems in their story, at one point she is saved by Smokey when she gets into trouble. After she is rescued, she discovers through events that not everything is ready-made and that she is told things about her brother that she never knew. Will they find out the truth and have a hea together? There is plenty of steam, drama, tension, betrayal, action and much more.

Alexadra had been outbfor revenge against Smokey who killer her brother, but just when she's about to ge tit trouble comes for them and Smokey becomes her savior, but will discovering more about her brothers past, bring her closer to revenge or being them closer together. Well written steamy desires, action, drama and more a great addition to the series.

Loved It!!

This is another addition to the Steel Reapers MC series and it is another five-star read for me. Alexandra is out for revenge on the man who killed her brother. As Alexandra is about to take revenge, Smokey saves her. Things are not always as they seem.

The steam, suspense and humor were great and this book was a big page turner for me. I look forward to more from this author.

The characters in this book were very compelling, not just Alex and Dixon. I really enjoyed meeting them and their friends. The plot kept me going although it was too intense for me as well as violent. If you your motorcycle club romances this you will enjoy this book.

Fantastic read. I absolutely loved Smokey and Alex’s story ?????? Their love banter was so full of snark I laughed a lot. An absolute page turner and a very entertaining read. 100% recommend this book to everyone ?????????? you will not be disappointed
