Ok but
This book was probably the least believable in the series for me. There were just too many angles, and too much need for suspension of belief to be very enjoyable. The relationship between the father and the American lady was my least favorite part. The story jumped around all over the place, and then poof! It was done, happy endings all around. Well, except for all the dead people. Not terribly happy for them, I suppose. Libbie Harr265 23
Frank Hardy's father, James, is coming for a visit. On his way he is seduced by a very mysterious, beautiful older woman who has lots of secrets. James has secrets of his own. Men seem to be chasing her and she seems to be spending lots of money, but James falls totally in love. The big question is: Is she a good woman? Excellent seventh book! Rubia La FayeAuthor 2 books3
Not my cup of tea
Too far fetched and lacking the charm of the earlier Frank Hardy novels. I am aalso surprised this is the last. Did always suspect the Maori chief to show up again. Gabi CoatsworthAuthor 5 books177
