This is the first story from this series that I have read, it had me wanting to shake them both to try and shake some sense into them at times, but it also had moments that made me laugh and smile. This story is packed full of so many emotions and emotional moments, I wanted to know what happened next, would pasts be faced and would communication finally happen so that there was a true chance of happiness in the future...I enjoyed seeing them come together and thought it was a good read. Sydney is coming off of a divorce from her cheating husband and runs into Chris again who was her next-door neighbor growing up. Sparks are still there between them. She has a lot of insecurities after dealing with her ex-husband and doesn't want to hurt Chris but the more time they are in each other's presence the more her feelings grow. Will this time around lead them to happiness.

The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Sydney and Chris. The story keeps us turning the pages with a shared past, humor, second chances, fear of commitment and steam.

2nd chance

This was a sweet romance that touched a deep love, yet the characters needed to grow into their adult selves. It also spoke to feelings of not really knowing what you really want and then finding them. I feel most everyone would enjoy this book. evieo17 4,664 44
