Family, Right?

I’ve been waiting for this story since the first author blurb I read. You can’t go wrong with a Tegan Maher series & Soul Keeper is right up there with the rest. Set around Abbadon’s Gate which features in several of Tegan’s worlds. A paranormal community near the Valley of Souls, a holding place for the most evil condemned beings, Kira, an somewhat unangelic angel is in hot water. Again. This time it’s her flighty Gatekeeper mom who, lovestruck, opens the Gate to the Valley of Souls then disappears, presumably with her demon. Problem is, she told Kira before she did that. Now demoted to lower Angel, Kira has to track down the loose souls & bring them back.
The story is fast-paced, the plot interesting & there’s plenty of opportunities to develop the series. I look forward to more adventures with Kira & her partners. Kim Loomer605 7

Another new series and another hit as far as I am concerned. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next one with anticaption. Kira is a Hunter of Lost Souls and she gets paired up with Callum, a mage after Kira's mother opens the gate to The Valley of Lost Souls and lets some of the most evil monsters out. Now Kira and Callum have the task of trying to find these souls and getting them back behind the gate where they belong. The book was a real page turner and I read it in on sitting as it had me hooked in the first few pages. It is a short story and more of an introduction to this series. Soul Keeper is the first book in Soul Hunters : The Fallen . Kira is a fallen angel that has a huge mess on her hands . Her mom opens the gate to the Valley of the Lost Souls and since her mom is MIA Kira is tasked with recovering the wicked souls . She is teamed up with a powerful Mage , Collum .

This was a fantastic debut book in a new series I’m so excited about . If you have read the authors other series you will recognize some familiar faces . I love the trip to Abandons Gate and some story time with Michael and Mika.

Soul Keeper is an amazing start to a new series! 4.7 stars

I loved this story, but especially the main characters: Kira and Callum along with the critters in the story. Magical stories with different magical peoples keep you guessing about what's happening next.
I am only sorry that the next in the series won't be out for two months!

Outstandingly awesome and epic urban fantasy series

An outstanding and epic urban fantasy series. An extraordinary cast of characters and a unique storyline. This author writes a number a different series in her magical world. I have yet to find one that one extraordinary. Follow along as an angel and a mage must chase after estate souls. The adventure begins don’t miss out. A 4.5* read for me! A solid start to a new series from the author. If you follow some of her other series, there are some familiar faces in this one - loved that! The book works as a debut as it is more novella length, but don't let that stop you - there is lots of action. Looking forward to more in the series. Jennifer Goliash247 1 follower
