HER BILLIONAIRE BARGAIN is the third instalment in Taryn Quinn’s contemporary, adult KENSINGTON SQUARE erotic, romance series set in the author’s Crescent Cove world. This is interior designer/single mother Shelby Wilde, and billionaire attorney Dexter ‘Dex’ Shaw’s story line. HER BILLIONAIRE BARGAIN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives. (Dex and Shelby) HER BILLIONAIRE BARGAIN follows the building romance and relationship between our story line couple. Dexter Shaw is a successful divorce attorney whose lifestyle is questionable at best. As the sole owner of the family law firm, Dexter must keep up appearances and the first thing is to redesign the home in which he no longer feels welcome. Enter interior designer and the woman with whom Dexter will fall in love-single mother/interior designer Shelly Wilde. As Dexter struggles to keep his attraction to Shelby at bay, our heroine battles between head and heart with issues of trust as it pertains to our story line hero. What ensues is the building relationship between Dex and Shelby, as our couple learn to navigate a life of instant attraction, instant family and the frenetic pace of two people learning to control their impulses.

The world building focuses trust and acceptance. Shelby has struggled as a single mother with virtually no help from her ex, a father who wants nothing to do with his only daughter. Trust doesn’t come easy, and Shelby’s first introduction to Dex left much to be desired. Dexter Shaw knows he has to change his image beginning with his bachelor lifestyle, and a home more conducive to family and love.

The relationship between Dex and Shelby begins a a business arrangement when Shelby is hired to redesign and decorate Dex’s mansion but from the outset Shelby struggles with Dex’s frenetic pace and over the top behavior. As Dex pursues Shelby for something more, Shelby must come to term with possible changes at home. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate and intense.

The interesting and entertaining secondary and supporting characters including Dexter’s brother attorney Preston Shaw, their father Isaac Shaw; attorney Bishop Stone, attorney Eli Turner, veterinarian Grant Thorne, Dexter’s assistant Isis Jenkins, Shelby’s parents, and her daughter Alice aka Berry, and Bob.

HER BILLIONAIRE BARGAIN is a story of family and friendships, trust and acceptance, determination and love. The slow building premise is impassioned; the romance is seductive; the characters are quirky and fun.

As the son and younger brother of some serious go-getters, Dexter Shaw has had to go the extra mile to prove himself for forever. The problem? He didn't understand himself for the longest time, making for a truly frustrating go of it. Now that he knows what makes him tick, he's ready to take life by the horns and get things moving. First things first: get Shelby Wilde to take him on as a client...and maybe more. Problem? Trusting doesn't come easily to Shelby, and convincing her that they make a great team might be Dex's biggest challenge yet.

I will shout my love of Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn from the rooftops until everyone knows how amazing they are. I have my favorites, but there are not many authors that I can honestly say hit the mark for me every single time, and just keep getting better with each consecutive book. Here are two of them. From rockstars to businessmen (and women!), tour buses to small towns, these ladies have covered them all, adding steam, sass, sweetness, and most of all, love, to the stories and characters that they create, and doing it beautifully.

The last couple of books in the Kensington Square series have dealt with some timely topical issues, bringing them into the world of romance and helping us readers understand that we are not alone. Depression, anxiety, ADHD, these are things that many are dealing with, and to see characters that are as well brings these books to a whole new level for me.

Dex is easily one of my favorite characters lately. He is a mess, but he knows it, and is trying really hard to get his life going in the direction that he wants it to go. He and Shelby delighted me from the go, sparking off each other with wit and humor, and supporting each other in ways that neither had experienced before. And Berry, well, she is truly the icing on this cake, because everyone should have a smart and sassy kiddo to keep them on their toes.

As always in TQ books, there is such a strong sense of family and community in this book, with friend groups that would be awesome to be a part of, and the support that comes from people that love you truly having your back. I'll say it again, if you're a romance lover and these books are not on your radar, you are totally missing out. Read HER BILLIONAIRE BARGAIN, and then go read all of the rest of these ladies' books. You will be a fan forever. ??2023-favorite contemporary-romance favorite-series ...more Sandy Kelly1,204 11

This is book 3 in the Kensington Square series and it absolutely can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the previous books just because you meet this character in them. Hiring an interior designer to redo my McMansion led to me…falling in love with a total stranger? And trying to figure out how to make her fall in love with me. Shelby Wilde is a driven single mom who started an up-and-coming design firm, Designing Women, with three friends. She is not looking for love. Or lust. Or my particular brand of chaos with a side of many happy moments while naked. But in no time, I’m ready to give up my wild, freewheeling single days for her and her little girl. She can still redesign my house. The only thing is, she needs to find a way to make herself and Berry part of the design. Because I don’t want any home without her and the little girl I want to make my daughter.

I really enjoyed this book. Dex is likable and funny and the things he is struggling with, I think we have all struggled with-which made me relate to him more. Shelby is also likable and relatable, especially when it comes to her struggles to juggle her work and her child by herself. I loved how they both come together and learn to become more than they are apart. They not only have to learn to trust each other and know they can be what each other needs, but they have to realize that together they are more and exactly what they need. I had some issues at the beginning, which is why I knocked it down a star. I just couldn't get into it at first-I'm not sure if it's just the mood I was in or if I just had trouble connecting with the characters at the beginning. But once I got further in, I absolutely loved it and how everything played out! Valeen Robertson (Live Thru Books Blog)5,410 203

Dexter "Dex" needs to make a life change. To that end, he needs to hire a designer to redecorate his huge home. He wants the pantsuit wearing single mom, Shelby, but does she want the job? Even more significantly, does she want him? Because he sure wants both her and her daughter Berry, in his home, in his life, in his heart. Now the ball's in Shelby's court - go all in with her new client and potential love, or run scared the way she has always.

If Dex were a real person, I'd have snagged him in an instant! He is the most adorable, swoony guy, ever. I love the way he wiggled his way into Shelby and Berry's hearts and never left. Shelby may have required some wooing, gently (and deliciously) but once she figured it out, Dex (and I) were cheering! I adore this newly-formed family, the best yet in Kensington Square.

Kensington Square has a new “it” couple!

Are you looking for a book about a strong mom who puts her kid first, but is ready to find love again? You’ll definitely want to check this one out.

Shelby, an up and coming interior designer is raising a child on her own with little help from her prominent deadbeat ex. She’s working hard to make ends meet and care for her daughter at the same time. But that doesn’t mean she can’t find someone to take care of her needs too. Enter Dexter Shaw.

Dex is a handsome, rich, and successful lawyer and ladies man. Seems he has it all, but things are not always how they seem on the outside looking in. In reality, Dex is swamped with work after his Dad retired and his brother left their firm. He’s trying to reconcile himself to an adult diagnosis of ADHD, and he’s feeling a bit left behind by friends and family that are starting their own happily ever afters. He’s a a crossroad, trying to figure his path out when he meets two girls who are about to change things forever. Enter Shelby and her daughter Berry.

I loved how these two had to drop their biggest fears in order to be able to move forward and find love. It was wonderful to see the relationship between Dex and Berry as the bond over their common issues. This one was romantic and hits you in all the feels. Kensington Square, book 3 is here, and it is ahhhhmazing!!!! Taryn Quinn delivered a funny, sexy, sweet, and swoony story that will suck you right in. I loved everything about this one from the storyline, to the setting, to the multi-dimensional characters. All of these together made this the perfect story.

Dex is one swoony hero! People have always underestimated this complex man and I loved seeing him shine in this story. He's smart, witty, and so, so kind. His gentle heart seriously won me over! Shelby is a single mother with a thriving design business. She's devoted to raising her daughter, Berry, and always puts her first. I loved seeing these two fall for one another. The witty banter and dialogue had me smiling and laughing throughout. And don't even get me started on the heat and chemistry between Dex and Shelby. Hello, five-alarms!!! There are some bumps and bruises along the way for these characters but in the end, they find their much-deserved happily ever after.

Quinn's characters were well-developed and ones I was really able to identify with. I loved reuniting with past favorites while also meeting some new characters that I'm dying to see more of (hello Isis!). I've missed Kensington Square and I'm looking forward to revisiting this sleepy upstate NY town again very soon! 5 stars2023-read alpha-males arc ...more Pennie Morgan2,100 8

I fell in love with this book right from the beginning! Dex had me when I met him in PMS's book. You remember him, right? He is Dex's older brother who left their practice after falling for his "witch" and didn't want to do divorces any longer and went into practice with his best friend. Now Dex has the practice all on his own. Is he keeping up with it? Well, he is treading water and getting ready to learn to swim. When he starts looking around at his house, it really isn't a home for him, he decides it needs to reflect him and needs a complete overhaul. He cannot remember the name of the designer other than "Hot Pink Pantsuit" but she really made an impression on him. Shelby is a single mom to Berry and this little girl is outspoken and precious. After the walk through of the house, she is not sure she is up for the job but when Dex shows up at her door with his dog in tow and it was love at first sight for the girl and dog but mom needs some convincing. Shelby and Dex are perfect together. He is protective of Shelby and has a special understanding of Berry and very, very protective of her. They are going to make the best family.

Kensington Square has been a great spin off from the Crescent Cove series and I absolutely loved Her Billionaire Bargain! Dex Shaw is a perfectly, imperfect character! He's also a lawyer and younger brother of Preston Shaw aka PMS from His Temporary Assistant. Dex wants his home redecorated so he plans to hire local decorator Shelby Wilde. Shelby is a busy single mom and has no interest in Dex beyond the business he brings to her firm no matter how charming he may be. Dex has never met anyone quite Shelby, and her daughter Berry is a joy that captures this confirmed bachelor's heart. These two are perfect for each other but they need to get out of their heads and listen to their hearts. Her Billionaire Bargain was a really sweet story. Yes there is plenty of heat but there is very little angst and lots of laughs. A perfect read for the holiday season. It was told from dual POV and stands alone in the series but I do recommend reading the rest because this small town is one of the hottest places around for love! Carole1,427 16

This story was lovely, charming and sentimental and was just what I needed this holiday season as it left me feeling both happy and hopeful. The romance was of course very romantic and steamy, but the journey for both Dex and Shelby was a positive process in healing and their HEA felt real. I absolutely adored Dex with his dog Bob, and the scenes with Dex and her daughter Berry were heartfelt and I had to reach for tissues a few times because I was so touched.

For a change it was very nice to see characters having loving supportive parents in Dex’s Mom and Shelby’s parents. Also excited for hints about other potential relationships – can’t get enough of the Crescent Cove/Kensington Square stories and it was fun encountering more crossover references to familiar family, friends, places and businesses from other books in these series. Highly recommend as a sighworthy low angst steamy romance. This book is now on my Favourite Reads of 2023 and will be on my comfort reading list in the future.charming-pets-cat-dog-etc christmas-and-new-years favorites ...more Jean Marie726 2

What a great read! Dex (or Dexterous as he was sometimes called by those who knew him *ahem* well) is a billionaire lawyer having taken over his dad's firm. He's living in a McMansion that doesn't feel his. It's too ostentatious.
After waking up from a party he really didn't want to throw and he realizes that he needs to change things, especially his house. He calls his best friend/assistant, Isis and asks for "Hottie in Pink Pantsuit's" name and number. He wants her to renovate his house.

Shelby aka Hottie in Pink Pantsuit works for a design firm and is willing to renovate the house. She has an adorable little girl named Berry and an ex-husband who's a complete dick but since he's not in the picture all is good.

When Shelby comes to Dex's house for the initial meeting, it doesn't go so well but it's a work in progress. These 3 are a great mix and it was so cute watching them navigate this new relationship. A wonderful read! Lisa Cahill202 1 follower

We are back in Kensington Square and I now have a new favorite couple, Dexter and Shelby!
Dexter is a divorce attorney looking for an interior designer to remodel his very "stuffy" looking home. So he calls on Hottie in a Pink Pantsuit who decorated his brothers law office. For the life of him he could not remember her name, but she had a really cool daughter and looked really hot in that pantsuit!
Shelby is a divorced single mom taking care of her eight year old daughter Berry. No she did not name her kid Berry, it's her nickname as she loves berries!!! She has not been in a relationship since her divorce. Then she meets Dexter and she throughs caution to the wind as he is just too charming.
I really loved this read! You will absolutely fall in love with Dexter!!!!!! He romances the socks off of Shelby and the adoration of her daughter. Oh and I can't forget BOB!!!!!! Bob the pug will put a huge smile on your face!!! Diane3,912 8

I want a dex

Well why am I shocked that I loved, loved, loved this book? Taryn has knocked this out into the stratosphere for me. Couldn’t put the book down and even though I’d d Preston, Dex’s brother from the first book I actually wanted to hit him over the head and tell him to grow up. Dex was a dream of a character with all his foibles that are quickly explained, yet with the heart of a lion for those he cares for, even when said brother/father dont deserve it. Anyway back to Dex, Shelby and Berry and their story that just hits all the right notes and awh moments. Loved the oblivion/orchard etc links but really it’s Dex dominating this love story so beautifully and finding what he never thought he’d have or want. Shelby and Berry were perfect for him and I loved their story. Think he’s now my favourite character. Gonna keep the book to reread as it’s perfect for me. Donna Hatridge522 34

Dex, Shelby & Berry
This book has become one of my favorites in this series. I adored this story. Dex has a lot on his shoulders, struggling at the law firm, trying to do everything himself, and coming to terms with his recently diagnosed ADHD. Shelby is a single mother who wants no romantic attachments after her divorce. She loves her job with The Designing Women firm, so when Dex wants his house redecorated she's ready to get the contract. These two need each other and it's easy to fall in love with their story. Shelby's daughter Berry is a smart, sweet, sassy young girl who will steal your heart. For anyone who has read the other books in this series, you will recognize some of the characters in this story. Preston aka PMS, Clint, and others. This is a perfect read for the holidays or when you just want to curl up with a warm, happy story. Teresa Williams382 4

Her Billionaire Bargain: A Workplace Small Town Romantic Comedy (Kensington Square Book 3) by Taryn Quinn, the writing duo of Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn, keeps the perfect books coming. This a small-town book about interior designer single mom Shelby and Dex, a billionaire lawyer whose large Victorian home he wants her to renovate. Her Billionaire Bargain is about falling in love and enjoying lustful interludes, including finding out how to live life to the fullest even with what could be debilitating issues such as child and adult ADHD. I love how the authors give the story credibility with their sensitive treatment of ADHD and how it can affect those with it. Her Billionaire Bargain is a “must read” or a one-click buy for a good book with no cheating and no cliffhangers, always with a HEA to satisfy even the pickiest readers. Jennifer142 2

I have to admit, I didn't the start of the story. I'm not sure what exactly it was, but as I was reading it, I had a frowny face. That almost never happens with books. To be honest, if it was any other author, I probably would have given it a pass. HOWEVER, it's the writing duo known as Taryn Quinn, and I knew if I just gave it a chance, the story would suck me in.

And it did.

The story moved along at a good pace, and there was a ramp up to a wonderfully smexy liaison between Dex and Shelby. There was awesome, natural character development, and real, relatable aspects to both of their lives that made the story great once I got a few chapters in. I read this over the course of just a couple of days, so as always, once you're in, the story takes you away.

Definitely recommend, and encourage anyone who's "stuck" to stick with it. You won't be disappointed!!arc-or-gift have-book part-of-a-series Gab Mce326

Dex is seriously the best!

Dex flew off the page so fast that I didn’t know what hit me. He has a thing for Shelby and will stop at nothing to show her as much. He is perfection in his imperfections. A man who owns who he is and is not afraid to put himself out there and show the woman he loves just how much she means to him and to what ends he will go to prove it to her.

I was enamored, smitten, lustful after this story.

Shelby was reticent at first because she had so many wrenches thrown her way that she had fought for all she had. She is a protector, fierce, a momma bear. You can’t help but want her to find love and happiness.

Taryn Quinn weaves a story for the ages of a man ready to do the impossible for the love of his life. And it is a the ing of beauty to witness. Give me more love and passion in Kensington Square!!! Kathleen1,675 6

I've been reading these authors forever and loving every book, but I must say this may be my favorite.
I love the characters in this book.
Dex is wonderful. A sort of man-child but in a fpgood way. He has a huge heart. He cares about his clients and is loyal to his friends. He speaks his mind, but not to be mean. He doesn't to play games. He just wants the respect of his brother and father, and maybe a few others.
Sherbert and Berry are the perfect combination. Mom is practical and looking to take cars of her daughter and her business. Berry is smart and understand that mom needs to have some fun.
Together these three make a wonderful family. Oh, and don't forget Bob and Gumdrop.
Jeanne2,241 8

You can’t get any more “all in” than Dexter is. He does a pretty good job of not being pushy about what he wants, which is Shelby and Berry. He has no idea what he is doing, but he does his best. Shelby has big issues that she stuffs down and ignores, concentrating on her daughter and her business. I love Dex. He works to show them who he is. Berry is very accepting of everything. Shelby is great after she figured out she can have fun and a real life. Just an all around good story. I want them to have babies really soon because Dex will be amazing. I wish they showed an adoption talk. That was the only thing I felt missing.

Best one yet

I absolutely loved Dex and Shelbey. This book had great characters and I really d all of them, including Bob. The chemistry between them was there right from the beginning. Dex tried his best to be professional while Shelbey was aloof. Going through what she did from her divorce, I don't blame her for being that way. Dex couldn't believe how fast he fell for her but he was actually okay with it. I loved the way he was with Berry and everyone seemed to balance each other. I was so happy with the way it ended. I was sad that it had to end but I still believe this book is the best one yet. This book was sent to me by the author for an honest review. Marie Vayer543 2

ugg slow boring dry…

I have tried 3 books from this series because the Amazon writeup sounded so good - NOT. Very wordy to the point i had to skip pages to get back to the story, dull thanks to being wordy, again had to skip pages, characters aren’t exciting enuff to hold your attention, Dex is “Oh woe is me” feel sorry for me and Shelby is barely hanging in there financially because she is over extended with a private school, multi organization dues etc etc. both have attitudes that drain the story. Thankfully its a KU nothing wasted but time. I made it through 4 chapters this time. Not worth the time or money. Monica871 7

This book was so incredibly good, a perfect holiday read! And of course, eight year old Berry steals the show.

I loved watching Dex evolve from a man sure he would spend the rest of his life alone in a huge house, overly swamped with work as a divorce attorney, to the completely unexpected connection he finds with his new interior designer and her precocious eight year old daughter. The ending had me tearing up.
This is just the most PERFECT holiday read.

I received an ARC and freely offer this review.

I had a lot of fun with this read. Getting to know this soft, sweet side of Dexter, the strength and amazing Shelby, the perfectly adorable and feisty daughter Berry, and of course, a great little dog, it was fantastic! Dexter and Shelby have a great spark early on and the build up of that connection, with the moments between Dexter and Berry, it all comes together so well. Mix in laughs, swoons, and everything in between this is a favorite read in this series!

Dexter and Shelby. I just can’t express how fantastic I found this book. Dex is determined to find the pink pantsuit woman he can’t get off his mind. That she happens to be a designer and he hates his house design is a massive plus. Her daughter also captured his heart. The two of them ( Berry and Dex) are two of a kind in so many ways. Shelby is the glue for both of them even though she doesn’t realize it. This found family is so perfectly matched. I loved everything about this from the laugh out loud moments to the sexy times. Ms. Jamie28

I must admit I didn't much care for Shelby at the start, she's an architect who mouths off to her prospective client. she's snide, sarcastic, judgemental, and rude. I was surprised Dexter didn't toss her out the door. but. she recovered and the two are very interesting in how their love story develops. Dexter is all in, Shelby not so much. There was no major trauma or miscommunication between the two, nothing contrived or cliched. Once I got into the book it was a delightful relationship and story. Pam416 2

Was a wonderful treat to read. I found the honest of both Shelby and Dexter to be so refreshing and because it this had minimal antsy. While I usually find some antsy helps to keep me engage in a story, I didn’t miss it in this one. I believe the anxiety of both characters helped to replace it and kept me engage. Regardless I found myself escaping into this story every chance I got… Highly Recommend. Elyn Sulger242 2

Her Billionaire Bargain is the third book in the Kensington Square series. Taryn and Quinn have written another fantabulous addition to the collection.
Shelby is an adorable single mom and designer and Dex is a handsome lawyer. He wants his home renovated so in comes Shelby. Their relationship starts out rocky with other bumps in the road. But finally the cards align despite life's challenges. I think Dex is the best.
I love all the books in these small town romance series. Stephanie Hutchison465 7

I loved this new Kensington Square book from Taryn Quinn. From the very beginning I was smiling and couldn't put it down.

Dex and Shelby together are fun and amazing, but Berry and Bob steal the show on this one. It's always fun when a child or animal (or both) bring a couple together.

It's so muc fun to read about the people at Three Brothers Orchard and in Crescent Cove.

I can't wait to see what is up next. Christin Ketelsen72

Dec and Shelby fit together missing pieces!

I love a good single mom romance (because I am one and need the hope lol) This story was a great read! I loved Dex's character from the other Kensington Square books, and I had big aspirations for his fall in love, especially since he adopted Bob. Shelby and Berry certainly rocked his world from the start. I love that we got to visit some old friends and had tie ins to other books! Kimkbries1,724

I loved this story! Shelby and Dexture were so enjoyable to read about. Add in a cute daughter named Berry and I was hooked. From page one to the end I did not want to put it down. The style of writing of Taryn Quinn makes you feel as though you are family and are right there in the story. You will enjoy this one! Aimee69
