A New Beginning

This is an amazing story!!!

Meeting the Quads as adults and mates has been an amazing journey and watching David become the Alpha was breathtaking. It was watching my nephew grow up and assume his rightful place in the world. Great job Sydney. The challenges and discovery of others is much what Silas encountered. I expect David and the Crew to excel and meet all challengers with diplomacy, tact and the appropriate level of violence when necessary.

I love the interaction between Crimson and the Quads as well. The cameos of La Patron, Jasmine and the others is wonderful. I can't wait for Book 2!!1 L235 5

It will be interesting to see how this develops. There is an awful lot of manipulation from the wolf goddess as usual. For anyone reading this book, it will help you tremendously to know some of the background stories so you can better understand the characters. At times the story feels a little convoluted to me (at least 3 agends or possible plots that could easily stand alone threaded throughout the book). The usual relationship building that can occur between new friends but nothing noteworthy or unusual weighs heavily and causes the book to drag a little bit. Nonetheless, this is a talented author so we'll just have to wait and see where she takes this series to.... Cherryl1,859 1 follower

A powerful new legacy has been born

Not just the next generation but the birth of a new Black Wolf nation. The alliance with Silas' pups as the conjoined alphas of the new Renovo nation has been a challenge to weed out the corruption. Just as they get their new combined pack established the challengers occur. It's the alpha's duty to find out who and why, but they are handicapped as a lot of information has been sealed. The alphas have their hands full in the future, not only with the pack business but future births of their pups. It's an adjustment all around for the Knight family.

Not what I expected

I have been anticipating another holiday book in La Patron’s world with the amazing characters I have grown to love. I was disappointed that the majority of the story were scenes from the Crimson Kindle Vella story that I had already read. For readers who have not read the other story this probably won’t be an issue. For me it was. It also ended abruptly on somewhat of a cliffhanger. Sonya Williams805 3
