I have followed the journey of Antonio & Rodrigo from the onset Stuart’s writing & books grow in strength at each publication.
This is an excellent book once more Antonio stands and battles with his bother in battle Rodrigo. The bonds of brotherhood are stretched to breaking point. Yet once more Rodrigo & Antonio are sent on a mission by Alfonso one which seems doomed to fail. The story contains some wonderfully written battle scenes, brutal, bloody but effective killing you could almost here the clash of swords the twang of the arrow.The story twists as Rodrigo & Antonio fall in & out of favour of the king there nemesis and killer of there fathers always lurking!
