Sigh. I adore the Secret Seven, but Walt just keeps proving that even though Jane’s the most him, he’s the one least ly to know what she really wants. I loved Jane’s scary-smart brain and that she never dumbed herself down to try and attract a mate. I really appreciated that Nick was learning from his playboy past; that he didn’t try to hide it but also wasn’t looking to repeat it. The two of them were just so stinking cute together, even when they weren’t exactly together. I loved the way this book ended, and I can’t wait to read everything else these authors have in store for us.1 Victoria571 8

I was charmed by this new installment in the Diamond Cove Romantic Comedy series. The hero, Nick Ledger, was a professional golfer from Great Britain who was in Diamond Cove to visit his step-brother Tom. The two handsome brothers were competing for the same girl, Jane, whom Nick had met when taking a tour of NASA where Jane worked as an engineer. I really d Nick who seemed more invested in getting to know Jane as a person and found myself pulling for him despite his not being the desired target of the Secret Seven. There were some Mr. Darcy vs. some shadows of Mr. Wickham moments that put Nick over the top as the best choice. This was such a fun story to read! Jane was felt she was an average looking female caught up in work as an engineer at NASA. As she leaves her me day she sees a man whose car broke down and she stops and helps him get it started.
Nick a pro golfer is in town to visit with his brother and play in a charity tournament. After a great girl helps him with his car he is relieved she doesn’t know who he is. He asks her out and she turns him down.
But leave it up to the secret seven to work their magic. However originally they were setting Jane up with Nick’s brother. Jane was torn between the two. However the S7 changes their target to Nick and things move quickly. After some hardships and misunderstandings, they find what they are looking for, each other.

Grandpa doesn’t always know best

I love my visits to Diamond Cove, with its residents and their fun activities. Walt loves his two granddaughters and all he wants is them to be happy and have their special someone. After some bumbling, Avery and Tucker are together , but he wonders if there is a man good enough for his beloved Jane. She’s an important engineer at NASA, brilliant and beautiful. Nick is a pro golfer set to headline a charity golf event at the Cove, but he has a past that makes Walt wonder and he lives in Miami. But that’s ok, he’s sure Jane needs to be set up with Avery’s boss, who also happens to be Nick’s stepbrother. The S7 are up to their usual shenanigans sure their grandkids can’t find happiness without their help.

I enjoyed this book because it was part of the Diamond Cove series and I got to find out what the Secret 7 aka the matchmaking grandparents were up to.  It was Walt's turn to have them find a match for his granddaughter, Jane, an engineer for NASA who was working on the Europa Clipper.   

The Christmas activities sounded a lot of fun, especially the Dickens Christmas Festival.  I d that this book had some different twists to it which made the book interesting and a lot of fun to read.  Jane had two men vying for her attention.  Poor Walt, Jane's grandfather, was not happy.  I received an advance copy of this sweet, romantic book and I willingly chose to write an honest review. The grandparents try to make another match for Walt's granddaughter, Jane. She's an engineer at NASA her grandfather was. He wants to set her up with Tom, but Jane meets his step-brother, Nick, first and has a connection to him. Nick feels it, too, but he's only in town for a short time as the golf pro for the upcoming tournament. There seems to be a triangle going between the three of them. The S7 decide to let Jane's heart decide. There are complications with Nick not being long term in Diamond Cove. Will love win? I read this book through Kindle Unlimited. Sonya Wasden966 9

Even with their interference, Jane manages to land a relationship with Nick, a pro golfer who is in Diamond Cove for a charity golf tournament and is staying with his step-brother, Tom, while he is there. Then there is more interference and Jane gets scared. Will her fear ruin what could possibly be the best relationship she has ever had? Will Nick forgive her for running scared?

This is a sweet, clean romance in this series. It can be read as a standalone story but it is fun to read the others to know all the players, especially the Secret 7 members.

Jane loved her job at NASA, working on a new project that would launch next year. She meets Nick when he takes a tour and she runs into him. The Secret Seven are planning a match for Jane but it’s not pro golfer Nick, it’s his stepbrother Tom. Really enjoyed this book as I do all Holly Stevenson’s books. The Secret Seven take on another matchmaking endeavor. This one doesn't go quite to plan but has the perfect happily ever after anyway of course. I d the love interests and was happy to see them find their HEA. I was also happy to see a glimmer of happiness for Walt's future as well. Enjoyable matchmaking read...

Another diamond cove success

Absolutely adore the series and I'm glad that Jane is finally getting her chance. I struggled for a little bit with the 2 brothers because It wasn't Clear how far it will go. I'm glad that Nick was a total Mr. Darcy for Jane. I also love that she was a very strong female character who was smart and held her own. The Secret 7 plan to help Jane out on that, but are they actually helping?

The characters and situations are charming. Plus, there's a range of emotions as the story plays out... and, of course, we get a HEA.
