This was such a great follow up to book 1: Breedjng his Wife. I actually Vincent much more than Stefano and I enjoyed seeing more of his character. He is caring, loving, and sweet while also being vicious and exacting when needed. I did appreciate how he kept his “mafia” side a little more hidden from his wife than Stefano did Caterina in book 1. Each brother has very different personalities and that makes these stories all the more enjoyable. Vincent and Elise were a great duo and had excellent chemistry. I do hope that we will see Giovanni’s story at some point in the future. We haven’t see a whole lot of his character yet so I’d be very curious to learn more about his personality. Again, a more cute and nice story than a really crazy or dark. I d Vincent in the book about his brother, and I had hoped for a story for him. But I had thought more along the line of the first 4 ones. Which had dark content, and therefore were more exciting and impactful to me.

Still, it was good. And I'm happy for Vincent, and I d Elise. They fit well together. But overall, I expected more from the story.

I have seen the story and the blurb for the next book about Giovanni. It sounds promising, and I hope it will be more interesting and on the darker side again.

Otherwise, all the books, it was a short read with lots of spice. I enjoyed reading it. 1 Sarah433 3
