Book two

I really wanted to rate this higher, because I think it's a great story. However this book seems to have skipped the editing process
You have extra words, wrongly used words, just plain wrong words, missing punctuation, and plenty of plot holes!
What plot holes you ask? Well I will give you two examples that really stuck out to me.
The MC leaves his truck in student parking, goes on a mission and teleports home. He never goes and gets his vehicle, yet he is suddenly driving his truck again.
Another one was the Devilkin in the maze. Remember that he has the bathed in blood perk. He hides under a pile of their bodies and is covered in blood, yet the next time we see his stats they aren't listed, but the undead are.

What is with the lack of looting? We only see the loot from big bads or after a massive battle with hundreds rekilled. You never see any loot from just a normal run in with single monsters.
Why doesn't he keep a second set of gear in his inventory if his inventory will raise the rank of items stored inside? I'd be buying the regular stuff, you know the most basic stuff that isn't trash and leaving it in my inventory so that when time runs out on the induction I would be able to give my mom and sister some quality gear.

The list of the many mistakes that I found will be on Goodreads. It's almost this is a bad translation.

3/10 The story is good, but the quality is sub par.2 s Alan859 3

Silas trying to find an normal routine to split between normalcy and saving earth .

Silas was inducted into the Mutiverse by an inheritance by his Uncle Dan on the stipulation that he live in the shed . Where he had to be where his Uncle Dan had his portal into the system for his daily missions . The system sent out daily request that had to be fulfilled . Silas tried to go to the University of Illinois with his sister Cece as freshman an his continued degree he hadn't decided yet just taking acquired electives . recommend reading excellent series . Hasty

Nothing a giant cliff to irritate your audience. Most of this volume is a training montage that does very little to advance the story. Suddenly in the last few chapters everything changes nothing is explained.

Quite a few errors in grammar, editing and formatting. The lack of polish aside, the writing is not bad and the author does well in actively telling the story. Kenneth9

I had hard time finishing, but the ending was good.

I kept putting this book down. Something about the story bothered me. It seems he’s powering up very quickly. Parts of the story didn’t make sense when the MC announced all of a sudden that he could fly at Mach two. Because he can’t talk to anyone about changes happening it makes it so that there’s not a lot of character development or good dialogue. I will say that it got a lot more interesting towards the ending. Adam Roberts253 2

Really amping up the pace

This one really amped up the pace of things, can’t go into too much without spoilers but there are a few surprises to be found. Silas gets some upgrades and there’s an interesting twist at the end of the book. If you d book 1 then you’ll definitely enjoy book 2. Travis Neuman192 2

great read

Hate cliffhangers, specially when the book is good enough to capture you in its narrative these ones. Then you are frantically waving your arms to keep your balance as you teeter at the abyss. Not cool. :D Steve1,381 36

4.5 stars. Story remains interesting and both it and the MC make good progress here. Loses a .5 for maybe being a bit longer in some parts than it needed to be, but overall I d it and look forward to where it'll go. aliens-fucking-with-us apocalypse gamelit-litrpg DaMaar483 7

nice

Well written - book focuses on the MC’s connections and team building. Things seem to be paced a little too fast but obviously that’s the authors choice.

Keeping up the pace

This second installment of the series keeps all the action and tension of the first while expanding significantly on the greater universe.

Character growth is prominent and the author seems to be accelerating things. Very excited to see what comes next! M Parker178 2

I really enjoyed this book a lot. The story flowed well. Silas starts to develop as a force to recon with. I d the fact that there is a straight storyline, and the sub plots converge to meet the main storyline rather than swapning all over. tony braddon78

Well the story continues on at a slow pace not much changes Silas gets strong those around him get strong he worries about this and that snore !!!!
I think I will finish here as it just can’t hold my attention and I am skipping pages as I can’t be bothered to read themThis entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.Show full review Tamra Larsen45 1 follower
