love finding new (to me) authors

This was so good but the ending felt so rushed and needed more development. Anyway Nevaeh was a very troubled young woman who needed to learn to love herself so she could allow somebody else love her and she could let herself love. 2 s Christina798 8

Dumbest book ever!

I didn't see this chemistry that everyone was talking about. What I did see was a bunch of nonsensical words. Neveah was a Grad student with a scholarship. Yet she goes for a semester. Why bother then. She dances and works at a prep school but has the mentality of an adolescent. Always running away, throwing herself at men. The best part was her getting therapy. There were other things that didn't make sense. Such as being given 2 $500 bills. Those are not in circulation. Then there was Kyle. It seemed he was able to get a divorce within days and get primary custody of his daughter with the snap of his
fingers. And he was able to, it seems to buy a mansion for him and his daughter. I didn't know that being a professor made that kind of salary. Kyle was annoying and weak af. Who lets their kid be friends with a stranger at that age? Seriously? And this is before they got involved. Layla and Rebecca should have gotten some comeuppance. The school investigation was nonsense. Asking why was she dressed that way? Only for Neveah to mess it up for Kyle. Zero chemistry, just two people who really had nothing in common but drama. Shani8

Cringe

Whole book shines a bad light for black women. Horrible, timeline was dumb. This is seriously the third worst book I have ever read. How the heck did the author manage to make us hate the female character throughout the whole book. She had absolutely no redeeming qualities. Main male character was dumb and we were sympathetic but at the same time hoping he got away and never went back. Horrible book, if I could give it zero stars I would. Tonilee Gibson15
