There's something special about ending a series with a bit of heartbreak. Of not having everything splendidly wrapped up and tied with a pretty satin ribbon. I think I d it because it's part of reality that many books don't end on-- that not everything works out perfectly. We often end a series and wonder how the characters lives continue beyond the end point. Usually, it's with some sort of happily ever after, or at least comfy contentment. Not Lance, or Tatyana or Laurel or even Levi. And that's pretty cool. Life isn't all cupcakes and rainbows anyway. Ronaele Whittington, D.S.W.230 3

All loose ends connected and concluded

Reading books earlier in this series helped me understand this ninth and final Lance Spector story/fairy tale. Well....why not? Headline rumors about Russia become reality for this episode. Again .... why not? I shall remember Lance as a talented and righteous assassin. David Spoont2
