These books are way better than I expected

When I first saw the first book in this series I avoided it for a while because the description made it seem campy and lame. But these books are really fun action thrillers with immensely likable characters. If you read and enjoyed the Spy Devils books, you will also enjoy the Chance Mock books.

My one complaint is that this book does not have a continuous arc, and is more two short stories back to back. The second half of the book has absolutely nothing to do with the first. But it’s still fun. Maggie Deaton544 5

Another wild adrenaline fueled ride!

Never a quiet moment and bodies flying no matter the country. Chance leaves on job knee deep in bodies as he departs Venezuela. His next departure is a bit unorthodox and not by choice but the body count never slows even as enemies become " friends " of a sort.... His next departure looks to be a tad unorthodox yet again... Excellent story. Paced well with great characters. Have been a big fan of Keo in his other series, but Chance is giving him a run for the money. Looking forward to hearing more in this series. danny e watson10

Good story, fast paced with lots of action. I've read all of Sam's books and I can't wait for the next. Chance mock kicks jack reacher's ass!

Gun fu time

John Wick, Chance Mock is all action and class. Loved how we get deeper into the mystery of the character and his murky background. Looking forward to book 3. Roger1,547 5
