A Must Read

I knew Mike was going to turn Santi world upside down even though he knew everything Santi mother put her and her little sister through along with Santi losing her grandmother. Mike was a lying, selfish, and arrogant bastard. He thought he could have Santi and Carla. Carla thought blurting out her and Mike business was going to hurt Santi. It just showed Santi that Mike wasn't worth a damn and she could do better. Fonte was definitely a grown ass man and was better for Santi. However Fonte had some baggage. After suffering a tragic loss. He was scared to find love but Santi sweet nature and vibe pulled him in. Tameka coming back into the picture had Fonte facing his past but Tameka wasn't anyone he wanted to be back with. Dymond was truly a girl best friend. She had Santi back through whatever. So Good

This well written story is so good. The storyline, drama, lies, and jealousy really made this read. I enjoyed every page, every bit of drama, and these characters. With the pain from so much trauma these characters really needed each other.1 Cassandra Jerido1,192 11

Timeline all messed up.

That’s what happens when you cut corners and don’t invest in a good editor. When Santi’s grandmother passed it was a week after Thanksgiving. Then she went on hiatus for a month. Then all that stuff went down and it was always two weeks later. Then the book ends supposedly on Christmas Day but really by what was stated in the book, it should have definitely been early March. Details that is important to the credibility of the story. So that’s an important area in which this author needs to grow. Just because it’s fictional doesn’t mean that it can flow whatever way the author wants it to regardless of if it makes sense or not. Also, a little more character development would have been nice. trameka scott44

Wow

That is definitely not how I thought this story was gone go, but I loved every moment of it. Not your typical Christmas Love story at all and that's what makes it so good. I love Fonte and Santi
together and how they pulled each other through the hardest times of their lives. Santi is such a strong woman and even though these are fictional characters the way you told the story was so real. mixed feelings

Honestly, this book gave me mixed feelings. Although it was meant to be a Christmas novel I was looking for more romance and love. All I got was drama and death. Death from the grandma, then her best friend and his cousin and then his ex. I was not expecting dymond and Brent to die. That was crazy. Then Tameka did all that trying to get back with him, just to say at the end that she was dying this whole time. What??? Mike got what he deserved, playing around with women emotions. This book had me all in my feelings. First, Grandma Ann died, her sorry mom made her lose her job, then her sorry so called boyfriend was playing with her emotions. But all of that ended when Fonte showed up on the scene, her world changed. Santi had a lot of unfortunate things going on in her life, but there's always light at the end of the tunnel. I don’t know Fonte was no better for me . I actually had to laugh because the only difference was he chose to be in a relationship with Santi. He still chose his baby mother over her and slept with her please make this make sense. I don’t care if they wasn’t together neither was she and the other lil boy. Talking about losing everybody! Damn when you live a hard ass life just trying to make a way for you and your sibling, but never catching a break. The more she tried the more she was tested. I loved this story
