Excellent! The author knows boating in the waters of Coastal Alaska! She also knows how to create an interesting narrative of who and why those onboard could be together now! Maggie Muldoney facing health issues gets her marine license, after years of being a lawyer, to be at the helm of a yacht in the waters for a one week cruise to see glaciers in the Alaskan waters. The guests who were gifted this vacation cruise by an anonymous donor were from the same town and were either students or teachers. A challenging reunion to say the least and not all works well. Not only does Magie lead the boat through rough waters and around dangerous icebergs, but she has to handle the various issues that surround these guests.
