My latest free book from Roland Ladley, For Good Men To Do Nothing, sees heroine Sam Green off again on a self-guided mission - this time she aims to take down a covert international organisation that is hell-bent on starting Armageddon. Using all of her surviving contacts from previous adventures, plus one or two new ones, she soon finds herself up to her neck in trouble.
Not surprisingly, given all shes been through in the past, she soon finds herself at the end of her tether, both physically and mentally. At this rate shell soon be utterly unemployable, all her contacts will be dead or in hiding and Roland Ladley will have to find another protagonist - but with a bit of luck and a lot of perseverance shell be able to manage one or two more outings before that happens.
In summary, its another totally engrossing novel from an author who is fast becoming a master in the genre. The GLC3
Where do all the ideas come from? This is a well entwined and thrilling web of intrigue. The storyline romps along at an incredible rate pulling the reader from continent to continent, city to city and page to page with excitement following that wonderfully flawed Sam Green on one continuous adventure culminating in an explosive finale. The local knowledge is incredible, the technical details plausible but the heart of the novel is the wonderful descriptive writing which takes you personally to every place and situation. Such a wonderful read, go there and enjoy (or even better, read the previous three Sam Green novels first. You'll lover her, strangely enough. Enjoy!

Thrilling
A great story and loads of action. It was so exciting at times I had to skip some of the text to find out what happened next.
Well written and the characters have grown over the series so far.

Ladley's writing has gone from strength to strength. This, his forth novel in the Sam Green series, demonstrates his ability to weave an intricate and complex story which keeps the reader guessing until the very end. I can't wait to see where he takes Sam Green next! Jonathan Bowman-Perks1 review
