Decent Read

I've read a few books by this Author and thoroughly enjoyed them. However I was disappointed reading this. This book had the ability to be a five star read because it truly did have a great storyline, but there were several grammatical errors and several discrepancies. The characters names were getting mixed up and it threw the whole story off. I can see why Dash couldn't stand his daughter mother Angel and had absolutely no respect for her. Angel was loud, messy, scandalous, and trifling. She was a piss poor mother as well. Asher was sixteen but Angel was abusive and continue to try and use her as ammunition towards Dash. Knowing he didn't want a damn thing to do with her. Noel had her hands full as well. Her son father Nick was a trifling ass dead beat bum. Finding out Nick had a child a year younger than their son. Hurt Noel a little bit. It was admirable for her to take in Ashton because Nick and his mother wasn't worth a damn. I had a feeling that Dash father was trying to set up him and Noel. Star was in her feelings when she tried coming on to Dash and he let her know he don't have any sexual attraction or romantic feelings for her. Dash looked at Star a sister but she couldn't handle that. Ain't nothing a woman scorn. Star been Dash right hand for years. Since she couldn't have him and was jealous learning about him and Noel. Star started plotting. I was too out done when she thought she could play games with Dash father and hook up with Angel to get revenge. Dash father wasn't dumb at all and knew Star was up to something. Which didn't end well for her or Angel in the end. I couldn't do anything but shake my head when Dash caught his daughter and Noel son in the bed together. That situation was a damn mess. TACORA MCCLUNEY2,019 8

Dash and Noel

Boy when I tell you there is some crazy and delusional females in this book. Hunny, Star and Angel's azzes got problems. Angel is the true definition of baby mama from hell. Star was a sister to Dash but she was in love with him. The lengths these women went to to be with a man that didn't want either one was crazy. Noel was who he wanted and although a lil situation between his daughter and her son almost ended things before it could get good. I'm glad that everything worked out for everyone.
