Sinopsis

Eileen and Kyne have escaped the doomed city of Black Dog.

But peril has followed them all the way to Defendable, the west most port city of the kingdom of Shaul. Pirates, prison, and plague seem to abound behind every rock and city street. All while the companions try to unravel the mystery of the plague, a sinister force is at work in the shadows.
