A Feel Good Read

If you haven’t started this series from the beginning, then turn around and start at book one because much of what happens in this book will not make sense. That being said, I loved this story of resilience from JJ. After running away from her grief, JJ returns home to put pieces of her life back together. It really is a feel good read and it made me smile and have some hope for this old world.1 Pam1,303

This was a delightful book and the last in the series. I enjoyed this book and the series immensely!

Return to Irish Hills where sun-soaked memories, cherished friendships, sisterhood, and sweet possibilities for second-chance romance are around every corner. Sandbar Sunrise is the fifth book in the Summer Cottage Series that follows the heartwarming stories of Libby Quinn, her friends, family, and summer visitors to the beaches of Irish Hills. If you a touch of sweet romance, flip-flops, and sun on your shoulders, you’ll love Sandbar Sunrise. Pick a spot on the pontoon boat and spend the summer with old friends and gentle laughs.1 Nikki1,292 11

The fifth book in the Sandbar Sisters series of women's fiction. Set in Irish Hills, it's about a group of girls who grew up together, then drifted apart. When the town needed them, one by one, they came back.

This book is about JJ, the one who remained in Irish Hills until the last 9 months, after the hurricane, which took her husband's life. When Libby, the one who had got them all back to the town, finds her, she agrees to return for a couple of weeks. However, things don't always go to plan.

With her Son's lives to sort out, setting up a new business and sorting out her feelings for someone, JJ has her work cut out.

I love this series, I read this book in 24 hours and really hope that there is another book or 2 to come. The books are best read in order of publication to preserve continuity of the characters and wider storyline.1 Cindy McCurley31

Love this series

Another great chapter for the Sandbar Sisters. JJ needed to come home to really start dealing with her grief and to realize that home is where she belongs. I loved the interaction between JJ and Sterling. This series just hits home with me. I felt JJ as I lost my husband too quickly and with no watning. It just hits different sometimes you have to face it all to get through it. Then pick up the pieces and move on. Thank you for another book in a fantastic series. Lynn Bartels O'Neill Beam8

So much more to know. Please another book. The description if the aftermath of the tornado was so correct. We endured Andrew. Stone’s metamorphosis was so comforting. Might I hope to have one of those kimonas?
