The book starts well, and developes interesting and able characters. But the last third is not interesting enough. The characters loose their magic and become predictable. Also, there is a huge amount of action, and I'm very sorry to say, that for me, it wasn't well written. I found myself more trying very hard to imagine what was going on and couldn't, to the point I just fast-read some of the action paragraphs.
Also, the villain is too cliche, he is just a generic Daemon, one that we have seen a thousand times over.
I know the book was written a long time ago, but I've read it now, and it doesn't holds up very well. S.M. KassonAuthor 2 books2
R.A. Salvatore is one of my favorite authors. The Demon Wars saga was my introduction into this incredibly imaginative world. His characters are well thought out and the writing is engaging. It was during The Demon Apostle, the third book in the series, that I first cried while reading a book. The fact that R.A.
