Sexy, but storyline is disappointing

Lots of eroticism as this is a monster girl harem novel, the storyline has potential, but also lots of weakness. Im not buying that in 2 decades the evil matriarchy took over all the races in their world. There is little evidence of a resistance despite warrior and townspeople having no access to men, therefore no possibility of legacy. Thats ripe for revolution. Even the women in the Sodality leadership as well as the army have fathers, brothers, friends and lovers that they would have wanted to protect from being lobotomized. Its dissapointing that the priestesses of Omera are not in contact with any revolutionary groups. Running and hiding hasnt worked, yet they didnt even think to target the sources of stone tea used to make lobotomized men able to be mounted. Or perhaps poison the tea. There is also apparently no effect of using this tea as the sole method of reproduction, l'd think that after relying on this tea, its effectiveness should decrease, resulting in a declining population and therefore a social upheaval ripe for revolution.

Then there is the MC. After escaping, there's no plan to do anything but run from the Sodality. He's only halfheartedly thinking of finding a way back to our world. He met an Orc swordmaster and didnt even ask for some swordsmanship basics. Sadly he's just being pushed around by life, and barely trying to affect change in the world. Alan870 3

A decent start

I started this series after reading another from the author. About the same in terms of being pretty good. I can tell this is an earlier work though, there seems to be a bit less polish.

I'm pretty oblivious when I'm being hit on, but this MC takes the cake. It borders on laughable, oblivious on purpose to draw out and avoid smut early on in the book.

That silliness aside the story is good so the lack of smut isn't a bad thing. While not perfect, it's good enough that I'll try the next book. Mark Lobberecht170

Very well written and edited, which is a very good surprise for a first book for an author. The story was very well fleshed out and really enjoyed the world building. d the Mc, was pretty smart and developed some interesting abilities. A great first book!!!

Extremely well written with the very minimum of editorial mistakes!!!! The entrance to the new world was not unique but the rest of this world is by far quite interesting and intriguing!!! Wonderful characters, slow burn adult fantasy activities and learning magic as the story goes!!! This is a definite must read and I for one can't wait to see what comes next from this author!! Entertaining Read

Adam fell through a portal, while exploring a cave, into a new world. He finds danger and absolutely gorgeous women of various races. He first meets a beautiful fox girl who is a priestess in service to a sex goddess. Shenanigans, battle, and lust/love ensue. I the action, humor, and love. Action builds in a crescendo to the end. A great read

I enjoyed this book from cover to cover, I d the story with or without the heat....;) there are too many in this style that the heat over shadows a true story. I found the heat was well placed and served to advance the characters feelings for each other. I can't wait to read the next book.
