A beautifully written short story on the last day of Bonnie and Clyde and their accomplice who kidnap a Preacher. I interpret the story as a reflection of ongoing dilemmas with man: those in power, lust power and lose their moral compass and eventually all will be balanced in the sea of Karma. I really love Oliver Phipps. This book wasn't as gripping as some of his others that I've read, but it was still really good. There are the normal spelling mistakes that I usually find in his work, but it doesn't affect the quality of the story. It was interesting to see the character's different perspectives on what was happening. The title was also a boom: it's an action book or movie. I can even see the movie post with this name.
"I believe the truth is, everyman knows right from wrong deep down inside." This is a part that got me. Very phylosophical.

My kids and I loved this book. We gave it as gifts to new parents, to be part of starter libraries. We corralled the kids to bed many nights, based on this countdown to bed, using different voices and volumes to move them along. Which they thought was hilarious. And they particularly enjoy all the things that are going on in the pictures without reference in the words. Love this book. It is genius. Camille6

Couldn’t put it down. Started with a chapter a day, but by the time I had read 3/4’s of the book, stayed up half the night to finish it. Author so knowledgeable of nature. Great storyline. It was recommended by my adult daughter and now I have recommended it to friends and everyone of them have d it as well. Definitely a good read.
