Sinopsis

Three superpowers collide at the TriStar Border. It is ten years since the Kerradite War ended. The Manadine Empire, reeling from its first defeat in more than 3000 years, has apparently unleashed a terrifying new weapon. Four planets are destroyed in a matter of minutes and the balance of power has suddenly shifted.

Old hatreds have always died harder than the people that created them but the Manadine Empire itself is in turmoil. The emperor lies dead, slain by an ancient curse, and the heir to the Purple Throne is plagued by dreams that foreshadow death and destruction should he become emperor.
