All In The Family is a part of the Near-To-Home Mystery series by author Miranda Rose Barker. I have read a few of Miranda’s books and have enjoyed them all, and this one is no different. This short read makes my ADD brain very happy.

Holly owns a cafe in a quaint coastal small town after uprooting her life from the hustle and bustle of a larger city. When Holly has computer problems, Andy, a local tech guru, is recommended to her to help. When Andy comes up dead, Holly starts to dig into his past, unearthing secrets that someone wanted left hidden. Who is responsible for his death? His mom? His widow? Why would they possibly want Andy dead?

This is a wonderfully quick read and a fun mystery to be solved. In Miranda fashion, the FMC has a cuddly dog partner. I love this aspect of her books. Because they are shorter stories, they get straight to the point and build a bit of suspense along the way. There is little character development because of the lack of time, but I enjoyed it all the same.

This is a new series to me and I enjoyed it. It's a quick read with a mystery that you become immersed in. When Holly's laptop won't work, she receives a recommendation to hire the local guru, Andy. When Andy winds up murdered, she decides to follow the clues even though they put her in danger. This is an engrossing read that you will enjoy. Mom2three1,845 12

I love this series and feel that the books should be read in order to get the most enjoyment out of them. I love Holly and her canine companion, Honey. Holly is smart, determined, and stops at nothing to figure out who the killer is. They mystery is well written, and the story kept me engaged from beginning to end. I'm excited for the next one.
