I had fun reading this short novella. I absolutely loved Sunshine and her grumpy mate in "Sunshine's Grump", so I was looking forward to see them shine once again. This short read was fun, quirky, a little spicy and perfect for the Christmas holidays to get your thoughts away from having to clean, cook or wel ... people. I always need a little book-escape during the holidays, with a cup of coffee and a blanket, and this novella is perfect for one of those moments. I love these novellas when we get a window into what our beloved characters are doing after their main book is over. Not only do we get a bonus of a little holiday fun, we get to see where Soleil and Giovanni are in their, er, family planning (plus some cameos from the other characters in the series). We get the fun romcom banter and inner dialog that MB is known for, and some yummy spice. Not pumpkin spice, that’s the wrong season! Make sure you read Sunshine’s Grump before this one…. This is a must read if you have already read Merri Brights book one of The Billionaires Betasitter.

many of her other books, this one is no exception and filled with laughter and a woman who loves to put their men in her place! I laughed and swooned and really, this book just made me want more Billionaires Betasitter books asap!!!

This was such a sweet and hilarious quick Christmas read. I’ve missed Grumpy and Sunshine. Whilst Grumpy worries about Sunshine and her pregnancy, Sunshine is amusing us readers with her comedic mouth, outgoing presence and her award winning Christmas Sweater. Absolutely loved this book. Eep!!! It’s Sunshine, Grumpy, and the whole gang! I enjoyed this quick, fun read and revisiting these characters. As always, Merri does an amazing job of keeping me glued to the page.
