I loved it!

It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. Welcome to Urban Academy. This a the story of Valentina’s new life in the city at The Academy where she learns that the world is much broader and more varied than she ever dreamed, and sometimes a human girl’s fate may twine with that of another kind of being, or three. With mating bonds between Valentina and her mates as well as Onyx, Raven, and Asher in place, they face the future and the fight of their lives. When Valentine moved to the city to make her own way, she pictured difficulties of various kinds, making ends meet, finding an apartment, loneliness, but her imagination never led her to what actually did happen. She is now mated to three wolf shifters, discovering that her ancestry includes a goddess, and coming face-to-face with some of the worst evil she could ever imagine, evil in the form of her very own uncle. They’ve barely managed to survive him and his vampires, zombies, and all the rest so far, but they had survived. She was starting to think the only way to defeat her Uncle Dean and his rotting-fruit-scented dragon form was to call in their goddess ancestor, but was she still alive? Would she heed her daughter’s call? There was only one way to find out. So with all that and more this story pulls you in and holds you tight. I can’t wait to find out what happens next. Our heroine is realizing that her opponent might just be too much for her and her mates to handle. So perhaps she can draw on her ancestors for a bit of help. Or just one ancestor in particular.

This is book nine of the series. At this point, it is best to start at the beginning.

The story is well written and easy to read, yet with a rather complex and twisted plot involving both a paranormal academy and a reverse harem. The setting and characters are well done and have grown nicely over the last several books. We get plenty of action and mystery in this one as our heroine prepares for the final battle. Overall, a great addition to the series and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

Pretty good ending for Valentina

I enjoyed the conclusion of Valentina’s tale. I wasn’t impressed that it was there was several books of Onyx’s version of the plot. There was a lot that happened but finally the big bad dragon was sliced and diced. His portrayal of his character was an odd one. Some power hungry male, not dressing the part. Old grungy clothes but seeks to take the powers of the two cousins to become more powerful? There was a ton of spicy scenes but also some that were just insinuated as it was briefly mentioned after the affect. I’m glad Valentina and her men got their happily ever after. Nicole Yaker100 2

I have really enjoyed reading this book. Everything has been building up till this point where events start to get interesting and the characters start moving in the direction that leads to vanquishing their enemies. I have enjoyed getting to know the characters and challenges that Vanlentina and her mates have to go through. You’ll have to read these books to enjoy them and get the feel of the story.

What a page-turner! This book is full surprises and suspense. This is the first book I've read in this series, but i d it so well, I need to go get the other 8 prior books! I can't get enough of this story! The characters are well developed and become real to you as you read. You will not be disappointed in this book, Believe me.

Fantastic, I've loved every one of this series, I've enjoyed getting to know Valentina and Onyx and their mates and there adventures, the stories behind each of their individual characters, the overall storyline was well written with quite a few surprises in the plots. Diane Werning2,062 8
