Coco and Lucas are gone for each other, but he’s her boss and she’s 14 years younger than him so he keeps his distance. Coco suffers in silence and Lucas acts a bear, always growling and scowling at her. He acts a total bosshole at work. She s a dominating man and can’t help but be turned on by his bossholey behavior.
It’s been a year since Coco started working for him and he’s now at his breaking point. He follows her home from work everyday to make sure she makes it there safely and then watches her on the feed to his phone from the secret camera he installed in her bedroom. When he catches her crying one night he’s worried then he sees something that gives him hope. Coco gets a hoodie of his she stole and wears it to sleep for comfort. He decides it’s time he made his baby girl his one and only.
Coco’s surprised when Lucas says she has to accompany him on a business trip. The trip is really to a cabin in Tahoe where he plans on making her his. She’s confused by him being nice to her until they talk and he gives her a spectacular orgasm, in her post glow haze she confesses her love. That was never one of my favorites but the two books are absolutely perfect! Very romantic, safe and extremely hot!

I d the set-up that the MMC is secretly head over heels for the FMC and staying away is driving him mad. What I didn't is that he communicated the 'keeping her at an arms length' in such a way that she thought he hated her and thought she smelled bad. A simple white lie, "I am very sensitive to smells" or something else would sufficed.
Anyway, he gives in to his feelings and takes her to this cabin to make her fall in love with him. He pretends that they are driving to a work meeting. eeeee what. He is her boss and older and their relationship was strictly professional and all of a sudden he just takes her away without thinking that she might him?
