Reseñas Varias sobre este libro
Holly Berry is preoccupied with creating the perfect bonbons for the upcoming food festival. She certainly doesnt need suspicion cast on her shop when the local food critic dies there. A rude and vulgar man who seemed to derive pleasure from ruining businesses with his , leaving plenty of enemies in his wake. Holly doesnt plan to get involved until one of her friends is falsely arrested. Shes determined to get to the bottom of her towns secrets in order for Justice to be served.
Angela Mayble introduces her new Criminal Confections series with a nicely plotted mystery. Filled with sweet treat themed restaurants and characters, the town of Sweet Tooth, FL sounds a sugary paradise. The murder victim is universally hated giving many plausible suspects and motives. Holly is an engaging character and I look forward to seeing her development over the series.

3.5 Stars: For me this book took a a little while to hold my interest, it had a slow start but by the end I can say that I did enjoy it and it was a decent cozy mystery.
The victim was really unable and while I wouldn't want everyone's favorite person to die, it did make it a bit hard for me to care about solving the mystery. Also all the characters names were based on sweet treats, which was a little over the top for me and took me out of the story a bit.
With that said, Holly was a good sleuth, there were good clues and I didn't see the ending coming, which were all on the plus side. Also I think this is the author's debut work and it showed a lot of promise even if there were some bumpy bits.
I'd definitely give Mayble another read and look forward to seeing what she has coming out next.
