recommend if you can't get enough cyberpunk. there are better anthologies if you aren't as well read in the genre. This had some good stories with new ideas but much was also copycat of Gibson's Burning Chrome and Stephenson's Snow Crash3 s Ted Wolf141 4

I quite enjoyed the stories in this book. If you to read about corporate controlled dystopias, then you can’t go wrong with this collection by many talented writers.

An indie “love letter” to Cyberpunk!

There isn’t an inch of the genre that isn’t covered in this book. From bionically enhanced special agents, to downloadable drugs, “hive” apartments, and even a neural link to wildlife. If you’re a fan of the near future tales of a high-tech/low-life future riddled with greedy crime bosses, and even greedier mega corporations, you’ve come to the right place.

With all that being said there really are only a few “great” stories in the bunch, while the others are definitely more in line with the quality of work you’d find on Tumblr alongside the cyberpunk hashtag. Including a swath of typos and misspellings (some of which even exist in the same paragraph), but I applaud the efforts of each and every author who contributed nonetheless.

Definitely worth Picking up if you’re a fan of the genre, and looking to check out some new indie authors to follow on Goodreads. I’ve actually read a few of the authors works already and it’s what drew me to this anthology in the first place.

An entertaining and sometimes thought-provoking collection of cyberpunk short stories. The quality of the stories was fairly even, and most had an original take (or twist) on potential techno-dystopian futures and how their characters functioned in those worlds. Well done. Chad Hoblitz113 3
