"Murder in the Bay" continues Lottie Sprigg's mystery-solving adventures at English country houses.

Lottie, Rosie and Mrs Moore are staying with an old friend at a grand house with its own private beach on the rugged coast of England. As usual, there are murders and Lottie and Mrs Moore can't resist investigating. Another great adventure which had me guessing back and forth between various suspects all the way until the end. Lots of suspicious characters populate the village and Rosie, the corgi, gets a new friend.

The descriptions of the coastal village, harbor and rocky headlands make the book interesting and atmospheric. I love all the Lottie Sprigg books and I highly recommend this one. Claudia2,890 39

Of course, that doesn't make her murder less heinous although it makes it harder to find the culprit with so many injured parties around.

And this time I wasn't even close to finding the killer, I completely missed the mark! Luckily, this wasn't the case for Lottie whose sharp mind could cut through all the lies and omissions cluttering her efforts.

And I really hope she'll find the words to answer that letter and get closer to solving the mystery of her own life.cozy mystery series Christmas Angel1,007 12
