It was something...
SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW... The storyline in this series seems to pick up and drop off whenever the author feels remembering. There are parts that seem on point but then when it switches to the other character's POV, the time line is completely different- what has passed as months in Olivia's pregnancy is only a couple of weeks for Reese? Then there's the other parts that really just don't make sense (and yes, I know this is a story but still) Reese hides Olivia with armed security but then leaves his daughter at his Grandmother's house without protection? The PI looking into all of this never figures out the story with Holly and the other kid? Or Holly's sister and parents who died? Then there's Reese who never seems to travel during the hockey season in the first book- if you know hockey, you know they play several games a week home and away. Olivia's mom has MS in the first book and suffers several falls but in the second book, her MS isn't brought up anymore. I could go on but I'll stop and say this series could have used a few more test reads and edits before publishing. 3 s1 comment Terri51
This book is AWFUL! The first book in the series, Blue Line Lust, was great with a marvelous slow burn leading up to a fun, steamy love story. This sequel, however, falls apart with a totally bizarre and out of left field storyline that made my head hurt. Was not expecting it. And it was about 200 pages too long. There were a lot of typos too. I DNF it with about 80 pages left, skimming those last pages so I could see how it ends. Id give it a half star if I could. Do not recommend!started-but-didn-t-finish3 s Erin Robertson32
the ending of this book ruined the whole thing. So rushed and then it just ends? there is no resolution, we know nothing about what happens next. Also not once did anyone report anything to the cops which is absolutely crazy. yeah sure they spoke to a cop but they didnt make a single police report, call 911 when they were legit kidnapped? dumb.dumb.dumb. no lawyer in their right mind is telling you to NOT report to the cops, thats how you nail a conviction.
This author tends to write very good first books and okay second ones. Also the editing? terrible. i made a note of one of the mistakes i found but seriously there were more but im not rereading to highlight. 2 s Alex75 1 follower
Olivia & Reese: Part two of the Dallas Bulls Hockey duet. I love reading Mariah Wolffs books! They do not disappoint. Great characters and plot. Starts off on such a high and plummets. I am obsessed with these hockey duets & I hope there will be more in the future!.

I dont negative and I dont leaving them but this book compared to the first just makes mad.
This book shouldnt exist as is. It contradicts all of the first book. Theres no way he was in Vegas and married without the paps knowing about. Everything he does with Violet and Olivia revolves around the paps finding out and exposing him. Then all of a sudden hes been married for a year and not a soul knew about it
Thats my first complaint. My second is just all of Olivia throughout the book is frustrating. Third is Violet almost doesnt exist in this book. They rarely have her yet shes the center of their world. And lastly this one was the worst part of all. The book went from lighthearted with a crazed fan to a very dark book and then basically ends. The whole hospital scene was just confusing and illogical. If youre going to make such a dark scene you have to do it justice and not just put a bandaid on it. Was it even necessary to go so dark? No, not at all and I love dark. This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.Show full review Erin OBrien1,092 4
What a great follow-up to Blue Line Lust, the first book in this duet!
We left off on a huge bomb being dropped right in Reese and Olivias laps. It doesnt get any better from there. Having a huge hole ripped in their happy little bubble, Olivia and Reese struggle to find the truth in all the lies dropped in their laps.
Every time they think things are starting to go their way, something else will blow up.
I just couldnt put this down. It was nerve-wracking and heartbreaking all at once. Fear not! There may be happiness on the horizon.
5 stars!!!.

This book has the same characters as the previous book in the duet, but thats about all of the resemblance. The story took a sharp 90 degree angle and got really strange. In storyline, this book jumped the shark and kept getting over the top crazier. The previous book was somewhat realistic. This one hasnt an acquaintance with reality. It kept getting more and more ridiculous. Its too bad because the previous book had promise that wasnt carried through in this one. Not recommended.

The conclusion to this duet is not as good as the first book. The ending seems really rushed and there are some unanswered questions. Olivia and Reese go through a lot in this book. There are a lot of twists and turns in this book, but some parts of the story were just.a little too over the top. Overall this was just an ok read for me.

I enjoyed reading the second book in the Dallas Bulls Hockey series. Olivia and Reese are perfect for each other. Once I started reading it, I wanted to keep reading to find out what was going to happen. I would recommend reading this series. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

The story continues and youll enjoy this roller coaster. Reese and Olivia cant catch a break every time theyre happy someone shatters it. They have to endure so much and youre going to cry with them. The support of family and friends was awesome. Holly should have suffered more but they get a nice HEA.

This is the second part of the duet, and Reese and Olivias journey continues.

Ridiculous
Im going to be careful of what I say because my review of the first book didnt get posted because I said the word j e r k but this book was seriously ridiculous and not in a good way. I should have DNFd it but I wanted to find out what happened. Now I really wished I hadnt bothered

The first book in this duet was good. The second was kind of obnoxious. At least the first line 40%. Then it did get better but Olivia automatically believing the marriage thing without so much as a real conversation then telling her friends and family that he lied to her was a bit over the top. This is the second book in the Dallas Bulls Hockey Duet; the story continues from the previous book and needs to be read in order. Kellie May8
What a twist in the second book of this duet. Stalker, crazy fan, gun fight and an epic love trying to survive it all. Keeps you guessing till the big reveal! Definitely worth the read.

Well this kinda sucks
First book was great! this one ruined it all.. Al that drama just to have everything change at the end?? and you dont even get to see the happy ending without clicking a link? Sorry but boo. Cassaundra5
Couldnt put it down!
This one had a great story line. In the first book I seriously was hating on Reese and then he grew on me. The second I started hating on Olivia
After all was said and done I ended up loving them! KELLEY1 review
So far fetched
Book 1 was great, sports and romance. The second book was just awful. Wanted to quit reading it many times but I forced myself to finish. Hours of my life I will never get back. Stacie Hegenauer827 2
WOW! That ending is a beast! This is part 2 of a duet about the love between Olivia and Reese. This book has all the makings of a great novel
stalking, surprises, baby-mama drama, friend drama
and the author pieces it all together seamlessly! Even if you arent a hockey fan or sports romance fan this book will appeal to most contemporary romance fans and I highly recommend it! Emma Monroe 5
