I thoroughly enjoyed Lust and Little White Lies. The chemistry between Brittany and Dane was perfect and the title of this book truly sums up the story. I loved how you are taken on a dreamy holiday which Brittany is on with all the picture perfect locations. The supporting cast of Rose, Iris, Dahlia and Marigold really makes this story and their help in playing Cupid was superb. I would highly recommend this story if you don’t mind a spicy romance story.

Fun Story with Beautiful European Travel Destinations and Wonderful Characters

Brittany is a NYC travel writer who has recently dumped her boyfriend for cheating with her best friend and had a blow-up with a coworker she is competing with for a promotion at work, so is sent to "collect herself" on a European river cruise - incognito. While she is assertive and is great at sticking up for herself and others, she is also endearingly clumsy and very easy to . Dane is also easy to , always trying to "do the right thing" while working as a bartender on the cruise "undercover" although actually management for the cruise company. But, he told her he was a hospitality executive during their previous dinner and one-night stand - hence the lying and trust issues. However, their chemistry and attraction is overwhelming which leads to fun sneaking around on the ship with the help of their friends since their relationship is forbidden. The background characters are well written and often comical especially when "helping" them which adds to the fun. My only critiques of the book (which may have been fixed in editing?) were that the sex scenes were often too long and quite repetitive and that while Brittany's chapters were told in the first person, while Dane's were written in the third person so I found it confusing switching back and forth. I do look forward to reading more from this author - especially he sister's story - Enjoy!

Brittany lives her job to the point it really is her life, all she wants is to get this next promotion so she one step closer to her big dream. But then her world is turned upside down when she finds out her partner is cheating on her with her best friend. She has to end her relationship ASAP. What better way than to humiliated them both at her friends birthday party, not one of her wisest moments. Going into work after she's told to take an assignment on a cruise to rest and relax whilst assessing an article for the magazine. Dane is on his final cruise as a bartender, but this is just a temporary thing to prove himself to his father. When he accidentally bumps into a stunning American woman his worl is turned upside-down he can't get her out of his mind. This won't do his job is his main priority and he can't let anything get in the way, including Brittany. After a one night stand they go their separate ways, or do they. This is the start of the many entertaining encounters and mishaps on the eight day cruise. Between a group of four elderly woman who takes Britt into there group, a guest who grumbles about everything and Britt's accidental trips, bumps and falls. This makes a totally funny steamy read I didn't want to put down. The characters are so believable and you can't help loving the flower ladies and their meddling. Imagine her surprise when her titan of industry shows up as one of the bartenders on the cruise. Of course all is never as it seems and secrets will come to light. Can Brittany open her heart yet again after being deceived?

This was a funny, sexy story with some interesting secondary characters who become involved in the onboard shenanigans. I thoroughly enjoyed the manner in which the author immerses the reader in the sights and history of the places Brittany tours on the cruise and its offshore excursions. Brittany is equal parts caustic and funny, delivering set downs to anyone who she perceives as a bully. Dane is the hunky cinnamon roll MMC with a huge heart and a financial portfolio to match.

Brittany works for Explore Magazine and is based in NYC
She is offered an opportunity to take an eight day River Cruise from Budapest, Hungary to Regensburg, Germany, and write an article for the Magazine.

Dane works on the Cruise ship as a Bartender, but prior to the Cruise had a steamy one night stand with Brittany, after which no numbers were exchanged, as neither ever expected to the other again.

This story is full of descriptions of the excursions the Cruise passengers were able to take, which made me want to take a Cruise myself. It’s mostly the story of Brittany and Dane, though, who reconnect on board, despite Crew not being able to fraternise with the passengers, and having to sneak around.

They both keep secrets from the other, but with good intentions, which blow up in their faces just before the last day of the Cruise.

Brittany returns to NYC broken hearted after not hearing a word from Dane, who himself has returned to his home base in London, sad about losing Brittany.

I binge read this book, needing to know the outcome, and whether they put their issues behind them and got back together. I loved the storyline, which was well plotted, with a cast of colourful characters who added to the enjoyment.

Who doesn't love a British accent? Add in a comedic sense of humor and a gorgeous body and you have the MMC Dane.
Brittany meets Dane on a trip to Europe for work after breaking up with her most recent boyfriend Troy. Not looking for a new relationship, she finds Dane and finds so much more.

I loved how brazen the FMC Brittany is right from the start of the story, but even with her brashness I found it endearing that she always seemed to have little accidents that would turn her into this shy thing. It made her seem more real and more human. I enjoyed the fact that there was more story than romance and smut. It was well balanced. I am really hoping there may be a another story there with her sister!
