This is one of the best series I have ever read in my 40+ years of reading. Everything is here, suspense, mystery, fantasy, romance, family, coming of age, surprise, shock and awe. I found myself invested in the lives of the characters, rooting for some, loving some, hating others, definitely a roller coaster of emotions. I cried with them, laughed, celebrated and grieved.
I am anxiously awaiting the continuation of this series.
I am a lover of fantasy/sci-fi. This is a unique take in this genre. The character development is rich, enough detail provided about the physical surroundings that I could picture it in my head without needing to read pages upon pages describing the scenery.

From the moment I started this 10 book series I haven’t been able to put it down! Perhaps having been born & raised in the Pacific Northwest and growing with stories about the Sasquatch as well as being of Native American decent, raised with my Haida cousins I was intrigued.. I haven’t been disappointed. A different history involving The People (Sasquatch)The Brothers( Native American)and whites. How their cultures intertwine through millennia A story of adaptation change acceptance divisions prejudices... I’ve just begun book 7 and have stayed awake reading last 4 nights unto the wee hours unable to put this series down Michele10

I can't begain to tell you how much i have enjoyed each and everybook..I know i did not write a review on a few of the books, but only because i wanted to hurry to the next one..
Leigh has a wonderful imagination, and you can not put her books down, and if you must, you will find yourself thinking about the story, and rush to continue, reading, because you just don't know what the next twist will be.
