This was a fast paced omegaverse romance with plenty of chemistry and steam. This is the first book of the series I've read and I have to say that the author got right into this story and had me glued to my reader. Omega Sharon is a pretty independent character but when her boyfriend cheats on her, she's ready to do something else. Alpha Alexandros was quite taken with Sharon and they experienced an intense encounter that has him desperate to bond with her. He knows she's soon to be in her heat and has plans to make it so she can't say no ;P I found the emotions, her heat and his OTT drive to have her made me fly through the pages to see if he'd pull off his kidnapping plot and how she'd deal with it. The series continues with Cadence’s friend, Sharon. It’s not required to read the prior books before this one to understand the story. This omegaverse read has plenty of alpha and omega dynamic that you would expect. Forewarning: there is extremely dubious consent/non consent. I don’t want to give spoilers but be aware if it’s a trigger for you. That being said, Sharon does desire him based on previous interaction. Sharon and Alex have good chemistry and instant attraction. Alex seems he really wants to take care of Sharon but went about it the wrong way. This quick read does end on a bit of a cliffhanger. I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. If you are me, you read Cadence's series a while ago and did not really remember Sharon. Sharon was the outgoing one. She knew what she wanted and right now it was rent. Let's keep in mind that this an omegaverse book. This short story starts with Sharon leaving her ex-boyfriend and needing to make up his half of the rent. While working at the diner she used to work with Cadence, she meets a guy that offers her a job for night waitressing. This is not just any job. It is at the Warehouse. A welcome home party.

Things go on at The Warehouse that don't go on in normal clubs. Sharon knowing that she is getting close to her heat decides to accept the good time being offered. She ended up with the man of honor, Alexandros, for a little entertainment. One touch was all it took. Alex knew she was his omega and could tell she was going into heat. Will this end up the way Alex has planned it? Sharon is more than ready to go through her heat alone. Will Alex give her a choice in the matter? I hope to get more about Alex and Sharon. This is book four in this series but you don't need to have read the first three books to enjoy this one.

This is a quick, extra steamy read that has a morally grey MC and an independent FC. Their chemistry is amazing and the heat is high. There are also moments of sweetness that I wasn't fully expecting. The only thing that would have made it better is if it had been longer, but I say that about everything Ms. Ryans writes. Whole book is short and full of spice. If your looking for a king drawn out story that’s not what this is. This is a simple HEA version of the knotty series and I loved every bit of it. Alex and Sharon leave little to be desired, but if your looking for something super in depth then read another book. Sharon is an omega working in a diner. An Alpha named Ilias offers her a waitressing job at an event for big money. Alexandros, another Alpha, has just returned and they are throwing a huge bash for him. The other waitresses are omegas as well. They all had to sign an NDA, and things start out cool but things get steamy quickly and it gets crazy with people pairing up and doing ‘things’ in front of everyone. A lot of pairing up. There are loads of Alphas there and they all want the omegas. However, the main one Sharon was drawn to is Alex. Afterwards, Alex decides that Sharon is his perfect match, so he stalks her and waits for her to go into her heat, which was coming up. Sharon really impressed me and I was a bit miffed at Alex. He played dirty. But it has a HEA and is steamy and they are perfect for each other. I can’t wait to read the next book. Honestly, I want Roderic’s story.
