A Daddy for Christmas: Ryu by Layla Dorine is part of the A Daddy for Christmas series by multiple authors. This is the story of Ryu and Hank. I loved their story. It was sweet, sexy, full of feels and very well written.2 s Deborah127 4

I thoroughly enjoyed this book by one of the best authors, Layla Dorine! This well written and plotted book quickly became one of my top favorite daddy/little books of the year! The pacing is perfect, and immediately drew me in, and kept my interest until the end.
From the little Ryu's first words, "I pressy", he captured my heart. Ryu regresses to 3 years old when in little space. He is incredibly cute, while also being expressive and intelligent. He works in the dance arts. Daddy Hank is a morally gray, grumpy, no nonsense, smart, former bike gang member. He was injured while doing a shady job for his MC. Hank now has a limp and uses a cane to get around. He owns his own successful home business.
The development of Hank and Ryu's relationship is realistic and fully explored. Their chemistry is perfection, and is filled with emotional, swoony, scorching hot scenes. All the books I have read by Layla Dorine have vivid, lively characters, realistically written dialogue and relatable situations. This story has all that, and many elements I hoped to read in a daddy/little book. They are skillfully woven throughout the plot arc of the book. Some elements included:
-Size difference.
-Abdl, with lots of on page little time and active age play.
-Multiple c*ckwarming scenes with Hank and Ryu. For example, while Hank is
working, and while watching movies together.
-Edging, suckling, fun sex toys.
-Protective and loyal lovers.
-Many heartwarming, supportive moments between daddy and little.

I love the way the author wrote this story, and this book is going on my short list of favorite rereads.
I Highly recommend it!mm-abdl Mandy3,695 38

A Secret Santa mixup has sent Little Ryu to the wrong Daddy and he is sitting in a basket outside of Hank's door who has no idea what is happening apart from it has to be connected to the local kink club he is a member of. As soon as Hank discovers who Ryu should have gone to he changes his mind and rushes the adorable boy in from the cold declaring that he is his. Never in his wildest dreams did Hank think that simple statement would change his bleak holiday season into one of hope and love.

This is a sweet story of an adorable boy and his reluctant Daddy who soon became the centre of their worlds as they got to know each other. There were plenty of tender moments as well as a lot of drama and danger around Hank and his history. Ryu was just adorable and there were times in the story that I wanted to hug him (especially when he felt abandoned outside the front door at the start). Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM- DDLB dynamic with binkies and diapers. Guardian.angel54 851 33

The perfect holiday story

Layla Dorine just might be my new go-to author for Daddies and Littles. This story embodied everything I love best and was completely enchanting. I think one of the things I loved most was the nontraditional characters that the author chose. We have Hank, who is a retired biker and MC member, and who's also dealing with an injury that has left him slightly disabled. Ryu is an utterly adorable Little, who is new to the lifestyle and Asian. Even though he originally had no plans to have a new boy, Hank quickly changes his tune and embraces the young man who has been dropped on him. Ryu is probably one of my new favorite Littles. He's just so open and sincere and his age regression is very liquid, and he easily flows from Little to big. The story had such a perfect rhythm and just moved seamlessly from start to finish. The relationship between the two felt very genuine and real. There was no instalove but a gradual growing of intimacy and affection. It just ticked all my buttons and I would wholeheartedly recommend this sweet story! Jeanette Waters1,166 1 follower

There's no such thing as a perfect daddy/boy story. But this comes damn close. The author allows Hank and Ryu's relationship grow organically. It's never rushed. I could have done without the side story of Hank's old motorcycle club. It didn't add to the story, the angst was unnecessary rather than spicy.
The sex, however, was very spicy. But what stood out the most was the patience and caring of an experienced daddy and the newbie boy who was delivered in a gift basket.
An enjoyable read. Great characters. The main characters had believable chemistry. And most of the secondaries were as well. And then there was Artemis, the cat, with her antics including binkie stealing.
I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review. Jewell Moreno426 4

I loved Ryu, he was so adorable. Ryu is offered to Hank a Christmas present, but he was originally meant for someone else, apparently. Hank however decides to accept Ryu as a present, and thier relationship begins there. I really loved how vulnerable both characters were. In most romances the MC are so perfect it's unbelievable, but these characters, especially Hank had flaws. I also loved the two of them get food poisoning together, because guess what, that is real life, and how does anyone of us navigate those situations in a new relationship. I really enjoyed watching this relationship grow, and would love to see their next chapter.

WHO DID THE EDITING ?!.

They must really slam to get these stories out without an editor. Not looking good on that part. Without telling you about the whole book as some do, which makes you ask "Do I want to read it now after everything was let out"?. It is a big age gap between Hank and Ryu. I loved how Ryu was received at beginning. it was a sweet/cute story with some humor. Give it a try. On to the next.
