Sinopsis

Losing a father in a post war military air disaster is cruel. Growing up without a father leaves a scar for life. For more than 20 years the military successfully avoided telling the truth to the families who had lost loved ones, but in 1950 a U.S. Peace Maker, a B-36, was lost over British Columbia, Canada, carrying nuclear weapons. Sarah Redbourne has started to raise the eyebrows of the archaeological world with her pre-Aztec discoveries down in the Yucatan peninsula, but a letter from her mother brings her to B.C. to find a man who reported finding remains of the B-36, that had carried her father to his death. Jake Dorchet, a survivor of the bull pit at the New York stock exchange, has retreated to B.C. for a life that is totally different from the fast-paced life in the heart of the New York. In B.C. he runs a small enterprise with his father, recovering submerged logs from a river with a long history of logging. Living against the elements gives him a chance for a renewal ... and then Sarah Redbourne enters his life.?
