Sinopsis

Twenty-five and enduring yet another London Season, Miss Jane Darcy of Pemberley House, first daughter of prominent politician Fitzwilliam Darcy and his charitable wife Elizabeth, has decided that this will be the Season that she finds herself a husband. Heiress to forty-thousand pounds, attractive and in full mastery of music, singing, dancing and the modern languages, Jane settles upon the best suited man in her acquaintance: Rowland Knightley.

Rowland is in every way the gentleman that any young lady of birth and breeding would want: he is a member of the prominent Knightley family of Highbury, he is well-bred, he is eligible. But are those things enough for her to fall in love with him or is it just a match made in high society?
