Training montage

This book reads as an extensive (and still interesting) training montage. He keeps being pushed and pulled in so many directions. Everyone seems to want or need something from him. The new partnership with Mei Li shows a bit of how these are teenagers, and Yang isn't blind to attraction. That said, I can't say whether they will end up as familial or if a romance will happen. Exciting story

The story continues and it remains exciting. The main character has learned a bit more about how to live in his new world. The politics of it all are beginning to close in on him. He will have to learn how to be more sutel than ever.

I got really engrossed in this book and would recommend this series to readers interested in plots within plots. Jose Tieman197

It was short but full of everything you could want.

Outside of its length, this book did not disappoint. There was a bit of everything you could want from this genre. You have fights and training and world build all mixed together in a way that doesn't get confusing. I am excited about the next book. Shad Pease63 2

Needs about 700 more pages

I can appreciate the quality of the story and enjoy the manner in which it progresses, but it ends before it should. Double or triple the length and it might be worth pre-ordering the next book. Davidl Campbell'Sr677 4

Splendid!!?

This series has so much happening to the Hero that you have no way of figuring where the author is heading with this series other than he is the most important person to solve everybody's problems????? Mike Goodman1,282 8

Great Series

This story of a MMA champion fighter being shoved into a young mage’s body in a cultivating world was fascinating and fantastic. He has no quit and is the champion of a nearly extinct clan that he must revive before hells gates open in a few years. Kyle Smith89 2
