I am totally amazed at your ability to express all things good and bad about motherhood with that love/hate relationship we have for all aspects of our existence once we do become revered mothers. The entire story was so touching, and that includes your Christmas story which has always brought tears to my eyes

I Cried Tears of Joy

It’s Christmas in the inbetween and Kyra is asked to clear dragons from a bulla right before her first Christmas with baby Holly & Raven. As much as she balances work & mommy hood it’s too great a job to pass up. I instantly thought ‘how many dragon thunders are there?’ Kyra of the Greene didn’t think that immediately. She was surprised to see the Red Queen, Ollie and a nest of eggs. This reunion ends with me crying my happy heart out. She tells a story of a war that is paused for Christmas. I remember hearing it myself. Ultimately it gives Kyra the opportunity to help the dragon thunder and the company who hired her.
Kyra returns home to a second Christmas Day which makes me know that if I continue to wait patiently for romance it will one day come. In the meantime I too am surrounded by a loving family of my own design. Kyra-Lady has the most amazing creatures around her as well as family of friendship and now blood.
