Star Wars: The Jedi Academy Trilogy is a book trilogy written by Kevin J. Anderson and published by Bantam Spectra from February 1994 to September 1 of the same year. The novels are 1. Jedi Search, 2. Dark Apprentice, and 3. Champions of the Force. It is a trilogy of science fiction novels set in the Star Wars Expanded Universe. The plot takes place around seven years after the events of the 1983 film Return of the Jedi. The series chronicles Luke Skywalker's early attempts to rebuild the Jedi Order after the defeat of the Emperor.
