Build, Build, Build And Then Crash

Probably some spoilers ahead.

Kenny is an amazing storyteller. This one most of his books keeps you turning pages. I was enjoying the story up till he began to close it. I ended up being disappointed. He teased the reader through most of the book about some possible outcomes but then didn’t deliver.

Instead he just went with the same old hotwife tropes. Husband giving her what she wanted and the wife taking without returning appreciation or respect. Although she didn’t overtly humiliate him, from the reader’s standpoint it was humiliating.

At a destination wedding Andy basically gifted his wife Crissy to the big black (what a surprise, dah) husband of the ex who cheated on him. Meanwhile he was teased by his two ex’s without ever getting a taste.
(I know, that was Andy’s choice, but that’s what you teased us with through the whole book)

Kenny left several plot threads unresolved.
Such as his college girlfriend that cheated on him never apologizing or accepting responsibility for it.

For me, all it would hav taken to get five stars is Kenny showing Chrissy giving some genuine love and respect for her husband. And Brigitte, the ex, showing some regret and accountability for cheating and messing Andy up for years.

I mean come on Kenny, would it hurt for the husband to get just a little taste of strange?

This was one of the first books I bought of Kenny Wright's about 2 yr ago. It was shortly after I read the Training to Love It series which totally hooked me to Kenny's books. I've read 37 of his stories, including the books he has co-authored.

What I about Kenny's books is the character development and the dialogue between husbands and wives; how they explore their sexuality and find what works for them.

Sex and sensuality is complex and uniquely individual. Exploring it with a life partner is potentially very risky. Kenny finds a way to communicate, explore and share in an exciting way which keeps his books fresh even on the 3rd or 4th reading. And the subtleties he weaves into the stories ensures you see something slightly different on each read.

Dreaming of Another details the introduction of a monogamous/vanilla wife and mother into the husband's complex sexual past through a destination wedding. The husband remains anxious about an abrupt breakup from years ago that still haunts his dreams/nightmares.

It's a perfect setup to examine unresolved historic issues and explore the couple's sexuality, which until now has been kept under the covers.

Kenny holds the suspense and intrigue to the very end and the sex, and non-sex, is exciting. Every couple should be so lucky as to have an opportunity to really explore their sexuality.

Another 5 Star book by Kenny Wright.

Kenny Strikes Again!

I do so enjoy his books. No other author has quite hit this genre the way he has (at least I've not found them yet). The writing and character development keep getting better (only one error pulled me out of my headspace this time!)

The subtitle for this is an origin story and I can not wait to see what he does with this.

If you enjoy wife watching stories, you will be particularly thrilled with this title. The action is driven by the characters, rather than the characters being a necessary evil for the kink (which is the part we are really reading this for if we are honest with ourselves).

Thanks for the read Kenny. Now back to work on the next one!

Kenny is top in this genre but this isn't his best. Too many hard to believe interactions used to set up the sex scenes. Still enjoyable.1 Gerald Hoffman5 1 follower

To much cuck

Could have been a really good story but this author seems incapable of producing a real man character. They are all such wimps. The only strength they have is how weak they are. Weakness taken to such an unrealistic extreme that you wish that the wife would leave them to be with a real man with everything that implies. John E. Riggs III18
