Eve lost her brother two years ago and is still struggling to understand where that kind of loss fits into the life she's trying to create for herself. Iris is a girl on the hunt for the most beautiful thing in the world, equipped with endless opinions on what exactly that looks like. When they meet at a party, both seeking the company of a cat instead of the company of others, it doesn't seem as though they'll meet again. But, against all odds, they do, and become fast friends. As their friendship grows deeper, they help the other to face the questions they're struggling to answer on their own. Is there something to be gained from loss?
