Mitch story kicks off a great mini series of books where it showcases 6 friends perspectives on growing up in their hood which is the 943. Mitch and his friends have dreams to make it out the hood, well some of them but Mitch wants to follow in his older brother and fathers footsteps. With a piss poor excuse for a mother Mitch and his friends try to make it out the hood through school but Mitch thinks it’s a waste of time especially when tragedy hits too close
To home which puts him in a situation he didn’t see coming or myself which made me want to continue on with the series. I wrote this review after finishing the whole mini series and I’m glad I took a chance on a new author because these were great reads. 1 Taffany Hampton1,008 3

Good Read

Mitch just didn't understand the importance of his future. He should have listened to his dad and teacher. Life was definitely hard for in his neighborhood, but he was supposed to want better and choose better. Losing his brother and his mom's new life made things worse for him and he became angry. Good Read

This novella was good from beginning to end and I couldn't put it down. That's the thing once I was really into the storyline, it was over. Mitch's life was turned upside down when he brother was murdered, and his father already incarcerated. I don't know what to say about his mother yet...
