Wanting to start their own business best friends Hadley and Burke enter a contest to win the cash they need. But when they are matched together on the find your soul mate contest, thing can only get interesting. Kate is one of my favorite authors and this book didn't disappoint.

Hadley and Burke have been best friends since the 7th grade when Hadley’s mother moved them to Alaska. A few months ago, they started H&B Alaskan Adventures together. They grew up in Blue Spruce Creek.

Hadley has found a way for them to make the extra money they need to kep the business going. She signs them up to be matched by The Matchmaker. If picked, they go on an adventure with the person they are matched with and they receive $10,000 for extras. If they are frugal, they can save a lot of the extra money for the business. Between the two of them, they can make close to $20,000 for the business.

Burke finally agrees to the plan but the joke is on Hadley when The Matchmaker pairs the two of them up and sends them to Scotland right around Valentine’s Day. Burke is in love with Hadley and has this trip to prove to her that she loves him too. Hadley is jaded because her mother dragged her around the country following the loves of her life. They ended up in Alaska because her mom married a lumberjack.

I worried that this whole scheme would blow up in either Burke or Hadley’s face or both. It was definitely an exciting adventure.

Bargain Match is part of the Matchmaker series. It's a short and steamy OTT, friends-to-lovers,
grumpy-sunshine, curvy girl gets her mountain man best friend romance. Hadley is a sweet and sassy curvy girl who is a ray of sunshine. Burke is a hunky, grumpy, Alaskan mountain man. The two have been best friends since 7th grade. They are starting their own business for Alaskan adventures and need funds. Hadley convinces Burke that they should enter a matchmaker contest where the prize is a dream vacation and $20k in funds. Burke reluctantly agrees. Unbeknownst to Hadley, Burke is in love with her. But Hadley has a jaded view in love and relationships due to her mom's serial relationships. When they end up matched together and on a trip to Scotland, Burke is determined to win her over. Will she let love in and see what has always been in front of her? I loved this story. Burke is completely swoon-worthy and a big ole cinnamon roll. The chemistry was hot
