A PRIEST TURNED PIRATE?!?! I NEED IT.fantasy12 s Em (semi-hiatus)433 174
Clownish, cringey, and badly written around tropes. The priesthood is used as a cheap costume to fake a forbidden love story thats about as convincing as a bad wig.
The heroine is spineless and boring, and the hero is a pathetic oversized bat who first claims undying love for his wife, waxing nostalgic about their past to the heroine, only for it to be revealed later that he oftentimes used to fantasize about killing his wife and their kids, which he eventually did. To top it off, theres no epilogue, and the ending seemed so abrupt and rushed that it felt as if the author ran out of the ink.8 s Sophie (lambsbooks)362 56 Currently reading
