I am loving this series so much, four sisters left an inheritance but they must marry in a year to receive it and Kandy Shepherd has added to it so beautifully with Ana’s story I do love a good friends to lovers story, can Ana and her best friend go from friends to lovers when the pressure is on for Ana to marry and keep her inheritance?

Ana needs a husband even if marrying was not in her plans, she wants to fly free and do as she wishes, Ana has a heart of gold and has always done everything to please everyone else, but now the pressure is on, her best friend Connor is coming back to Melbourne she is sure he will have some ideas on how to help her.

Connor is wealthy in his own right and is a vet and loves his life, marrying for him is not going to happen but when Ana the girl he grew up next door to needs help he suggests a fake marriage and then does the unthinkable and agrees to be the fake husband, surely they can pull this off and keep emotions out of the picture, or can they?

It soon becomes apparent that emotions are running high and on their honeymoon in Budapest they ramp up big time, desire becomes real and Ana opens up to what she really wants, will they find love without losing the best friendship ever?

You have to read this one, beautifully written it is sensual and moving, I loved Connor he is the best and they deserve each other so much, from the outback to Europe this story is a must read for any romance reader, Don’t miss this one I was smiling all the way through.

Ana is finally recognized by her father. She was a secret and his family didn’t know anything about it. How she wished she could have been with her father in a family setting. Now that he passed away, the Will states that all four of his daughters have to meet the terms of his will. They all have to be married within the year after his death to inherit everything. Ana was worried that her sisters would hate her but they welcomed her with opened arms. The love was sincere. Two are married so far. Ana is struggling to find someone but her best friend, since childhood suggests that she makes a business deal with someone. She thinks it’s a good idea if he, Connor is the one. They decide to get married because Ana deserves what is rightfully hers. Connor is wealthy in his own right. They both agree to divorce after she inherits her share. They both have trust issues and doesn’t want to every be tied down. For Connor, it was because of the divorce of his parents. He’s still upset and angry about it. So disappointed and disillusioned. For Ana, it’s because her father never married her mother and ended up being a single mother. Will they be able to convince everyone that they are in love? Her family seems to think they finally realized that they we meant to be. As they show affection to each other, they notice the chemistry is there. When did they grow up and mature? As they spend their time together, their feelings start to change? Will they confide in each other? Will they divorce and walk away from each other? Will Ana and her sisters inherit it all? The characters are wonderful. I was rooting for Ana and Connor. Will they see what is right in front of them? They need to let the past go so they can move forward. Worth the read. I love it. The “will they, won’t they” was very real in this one — not just in terms of the HEA but the heat! Kandy had me on the edge of my seat as the desire built between Ana and Connor, the two realising pretty quickly that things weren’t all platonic and light between them any more, and as the desire built, boy did the whole desire to see them go from being “just friends”. Every touch, every look, every slip of the robe — yes, fave moment right there ;-) Loved it! Now onto book four…
