Operation Seduce Janey LaVey

Janey LaVey and Jacob "Saint" Santiago have a ton of history. I that we got to go back to their beginning and witness their first encounter, their first non-date date, and their first... foray. Nearly half of the book is spent in the past, but it was worth it.

Fuck, I want to touch her. Just a gentle caress of her arm, or maybe a possessive slide of my hand over her hip. The simplest of touches would mean more to me right now than a night full of orgasms.
-- Jacob "Saint" Santiago
All in all, I really enjoyed their story. That epilogue... it was really sweet and very fitting for them and their VKC family. Now, to get my hands on the bonus epilogue.

I'm sad to see the final book in this series come to a close. I know that Kameron can't help but have characters crossover in other books, so this is more see ya later.

Janey and Saint....ten long years in the making

Mine to Treasure is the eighth and final book in the Veteran K9 Team series. This is the story that I have been waiting for and it did not disappoint. Janey and Saint are finally going to sort out the feelings they have had for each other for ten long years. It all started when Saint joined the Army and became a K9 handler. One of his superiors was Janey. She had worked hard since joining the Army and was determined not to have anyone take her off her course. She is respected by not only the unit but also by those that she serves with. But it is hard on a woman serving as you have to make sure you don't step outside the lines and lose that respect. When Saint first sees Janey he is smitten, actually more blown away. It is at a bar so he makes his move but nothing happens. It is not until after that he realizes just who Janey is. It will not deter him as they play a long game of cat and mouse, sometimes getting stuck together and other times being half way around the world from each other. But now that Saint has left the Army and come to Colorado to join the new team and project he is once again determined to finally catch Janey and keep her forever.

I totally loved this final book in what has been a fantastic series. I enjoyed how Kameron took a couple of her previous books from different multi-author series and expanded them to become the Veteran K9 Team series. The story of Janey and Saint was a long time coming, with different bits and pieces of both characters sprinkled among the other stories. They finally get their full story and it is a wonderful journey, with heartbreak, love, romance, and passion along the way.1 Sarah Oliver850 4

It is very bittersweet to have reached the end of the wonderful Veteran K9 Team series. Saint and Janey’s story was well worth the wait. I found this a very moving and heartfelt read, and while this could be read as a standalone, it had a lot more meaning and poignancy being read in the context of the full series. I absolutely loved starting at the beginning of Janey and Saint’s journey and felt a deep sadness moving to present day, however Kameron didn’t leave me there for too long, and brought a wonderful happy ending for this beautiful couple, with lovely cameos from our other beloved characters.

Diving into "Mine to Treasure," the epic wrap-up of Kameron Claire’s Veteran K9 series, feels hitting the finale of a binge-worthy show—you’re pumped but kinda sad it’s ending. This round, we get Janey and Saint, lighting up the scene a fireworks show. Janey’s all grit in a guy’s world, while Saint’s the kind of guy who’s had a rough go but wears his heart on his sleeve, especially for Janey. Together, they’re a storm of feels and fierce love, showing us love ain’t just a smooth sail; it’s more navigating a hurricane with a tiny umbrella.

This book? It’s Claire knew just how to mix the perfect cocktail of emotion, laughter, and those sigh-worthy romance moments. Watching Janey and Saint dodge life’s curveballs while falling head over heels is rooting for your besties. Their love story isn’t just hot flames; it’s a slow burn that builds up to a firework finale. And the way everything wraps up? Pure heart-clutching, happy-tears magic. It’s not just a book; it’s a whole mood, packed with humor, heart, and a squad of four-legged heroes that’ll make you wanna hug your pet (or borrow one to hug). So, grab your fave cozy spot and dive in. Trust me, "Mine to Treasure" is the feel-good, roller-coaster ride of love and laughs we all need.1 Ms. Shawn1,303 5

10 years ago, at 18 years old, Private Santiago, Saint, joined the Rangers unit as one of their dozen K-9 handlers. He meets Sergeant Janey Lavey at the local bar and hits on her. She flirts but leaves alone. She is in charge of the K-9 unit for 2 weeks while Sergeant First Class Theroux is on leave. They get deployed. Vale leads one group and takes Saint with him. Janey leads the other group and takes Kemp with her.

Five months into deployment, Janey and Saint are both on R&R for a week at the same time. They hook up, but no one knows. They also end up having other stolen moments while deployed. Now, Saint is home and going to be part of the Veteran K-9 Center. Will Saint get another chance to win Janey’s heart?

I was happy that Saint and Janey got their own story. It was a great way to end the series. I loved all the stories in the series and can’t wait for Kameron’s next series.

Janey and Saint’s story is bittersweet, poignant, and a testament to the power and patience of love. He knew the first time he saw her that she was the woman he was meant to be with, she felt the attraction but the time was wrong. Commitments, hierarchy, and some missteps keep them apart, just waiting for the right time. Their chemistry is so hot and having to wait makes each encounter very special.

This is the last book in this series and I’m so sad to see it end! These characters are fantastic, their dedication is amazing, and the interactions between them is awe inspiring. Saint is such a nice guy: he just hasn’t been able to achieve his dreams with Janey and she thinks he hates her because of mistakes she made. It was so special when they finally talked about their feelings! I loved it!.

I enjoyed reading this book, which is the final book in the series. This is the story of Saint who at 18 had joined the Rangers, when he finally arrives in his battalion, he is introduced to Janey, and feels that he is being set up by Sergeant John Vale and Sergeant Kemp. They encourage him to meet her and ask her out, not realising that she is as interested in Saint as he is in her. For 10 years, they have been on again off again relationship until she marries someone who then treats her abominably. I loved how these two were able to put aside their differences and realise what drew them together in the first place, and finally ended up with their happily ever after.

Yes! The one I have been anticipating SO much! Janey's story! I absolutely loved it. I loved Saint. He was so awesome. He was so in love with Janey from the start. And I felt so bad for him that she didn't give them the chance they deserved. I also understood Janey's concerns too. She's in a man's world. She doesn't want to be seen in a certain light. She wants to be seen as a true partner. The guys that work with her now are top notch and would never view her as anything but the awesome woman she is. Their road to each other was bumpy, but they were perfect for each other. I loved seeing Saint find peace in all ways, with his sister too. This was such a great story to end the series with.

The end of the series, and what a way to do it.
I felt the connection between a Janey and Saint during the previous books and had hoped they would get their own story.
A very touching and emotional read, Janey and Saint stole my heart early. It was so good to see how their relationship started, the trials and pain they endured, and to witness their love coming full circle to a HEA
