Sinopsis

Love grows where you least expect it.

Despite being born into one of the wealthiest families in Manhattan, Agnes Cameron hasn’t had that many good things in her life. At fifty-two, she’s ready to change that. She’s adopting a child and putting her playgirl days behind her. Agnes is done piggy-backing and cherry-picking the best parts of her brother's life and is ready to finally have a family of her own.

Enter Penny Lane Tucker: thirty, vegan, and a wild child who occasionally sleeps in trees. Like her older brother, Penn, she’s a nanny extraordinaire. There isn’t a problem Penny can’t fix with a little elbow grease and creativity. And while she believes in soulmates and the power of love, Penny suspects fate is playing tricks when she's sent to The Killian House and meets her new clients.

Their brothers might not be aware, but Agnes and Penny have… history. Of course, neither wants to be the one to explain why Reid should send a different nanny. Instead, both decide to play it cool for the sake of Agnes’s newly adopted daughter, eight-year-old June.

That proves to be a challenge when the trio heads to the Tucker family cabin in the Catskills for the summer. Sparks fly and love blossoms as Penny learns that she's not who she thinks she is and that Agnes and June just might be her soulmates. But can Penny trust wayward Agnes with her heart? And can Agnes prove she’s ready to put her wild ways behind her and tame her enchanting nanny?

Once I saw this was about age-gap, nanny situation, I snapped it up, pre-ordered straight away.

I haven’t followed the previous stories surrounding this stand-alone. There’s a little bit of catching-up needed but not a lot that I got lost while reading this story.

This story was easy, fast-paced, HOT and funny. I enjoyed it enjoying canapés, light but filling. There’s not much heavy drama but enough to sate my need for a good story.

I how the author wrote this story. Its fast-paced and resolution came fast. Sometimes a reader needs that kind of writing especially when they’ve just come out of heavy drama books. This was the perfect antidote.

Hoping more f/f from the author in the future.contemporary7 s Heather302 1 follower

A Sweet and Sexy read!

Opposites attract in this sapphic nanny romance. To be honest, this is the only one I’ve read in the series and there’s definitely characters that repeat throughout, but I didn’t find it difficult to follow. There’s some nice spice throughout, even in the couple of flashbacks as our two MCs have had dalliances in the past. There is more than meets the eye in our ‘wealthy’ MC and our ‘poor’ MC acts with more of the bias between their status and not who they actually are. They try to keep it professional but fail miserably since they are both weak for each other and can’t keep their hands (or hearts) to themselves. This was absolutely delightful. So comfy and cute and still managed to be insanely sexy. I loved all of the characters, including the supporting cast, and can’t wait to go back and read the full series to learn more about them! Really hoping for more sapphic romance from this author in the future!

A sweet, funny, fast-paced spicy sapphic age gap romance!

June is an adorable child and Agnes is a great mother. Penny was the perfect addition to their family. It was great to see all the family members and past characters too!

The Nannies of New York series by K.Sterling continues with The Enchanting Nanny! A wlw romantic comedy.

Older wealthy Agnes Cameron has decided she wants to start a family of her own, so she adopts a young girl and is assigned wild child of a nanny Penny. Penny, who she had two explosive one-night stands not too long ago. Both women assume they can ignore their chemistry and focus on making young June's transition go smoothly. But a month spent in Penny's small cabin has their physical and emotional connection deepening. While Agnes is ready to hold on and never let go , Penny is more hesitant and all the differences in their lives makes her nervous.

Agnes makes a wonderful mother and she had great natural instincts when it came to June. I saw June as a mini version of Penny with her love of the outdoors. She came alive staying at Penny's cabin, and the whole experience also brought Agnes out of her shell. The three made a great little family unit. On the other side of things, when June isn't around, the intimacy scenes between Agnes and Penny are insanely hot.

Overall, The Enchanting Nanny by K. Sterling is a charming sapphic rom com with an age gap, opposites attract, forced proximity, fishing, jam making, found family, delicious steam and a whole lot of heart. arc f-f lqbtqia ...more3 s Lindsey Middlemiss227 2

Fun, heartfelt & steamy. My new favorite of the series!

4.5 ? for The Enchanting Nanny, book 4 of the Nannies of New York series.

At 52, Agnes Cameron has had a lot of things and a lot of lovers in her life, but not many good things and not much that actually made her happy. She's choosing to change that by adopting a little girl, June, from foster care. Unknown to her, Agnes's brother Walker, his brother-in-law Reid and his best friend Penn Tucker, have concocted a surprise to hire Penn's little sister, Penny Lane, as June's nanny - not knowing that Agnes and Penny have already hooked up twice.

I think this is now my favorite of the entire series. The fun, the heartfelt backgrounds, the chemistry and the sense of love and family come together perfectly in this. Reading it felt a cool cocktail and a cupcake on a summer's day. Perfect holiday/summer read!
