Truly enjoyable

The story telling is rich and to the point. A wondering alpha in a strange town steps in to help the leaderless pack and finds her destiny and love. This short work feels a full novel and as if fits into a larger tapestry of an epic tail. The subject matter and authors prolific work lead me to expect poorly written smut but this is a good story that happens to have some explicit sex.

Really enjoyable

First of all, I love books that feature hermaphroditic female werewolves. However I often find that a lot of them tend to focus a bit too much on the sex and not enough on the characters. This was a pleasant surprise in that the characters had more depth, a back story that made sense with how they behaved and were far better developed than a lot I've encountered before in other works. This was a series summary. There was no sub plot. The characters were not well rounded. This was a book that you write before you write the actual book. This was an outline. It was a good outline though. charles clayson1,069 5
