What a joy it was to read this sweet Christmas romance! When Ivy Bennett, owner of the flower shop Ivy’s Blooms, discovers a stray puppy she does not even consider leaving him behind. But who knew that she would meet photographer Blake Shepherd on her way home with the chilly pup?

Josie Riviera weaves a beautiful story that blends Christmas, flowers, a puppy, and romance into one neat package. Main characters are well developed and I loved getting to know both Ivy and Blake. The dog, Cocoa, is a wonderful addition that adds an extra dimension to the tale. As a reader, I became fully vested in how relationship issues would be resolved and was pulling for love to triumph. The small-town vibes come through as you see other shop owners and flower shop patrons interact with each other.

This is the perfect holiday book to read while wrapped in a soft and warm blanket and sipping a cup of hot apple cider.

Although I have already pre-ordered a copy of Cocoa’s Christmas Love, I jumped at the opportunity when the author offered an early copy since I always enjoy her books. No promise was made of a positive review, but I can honestly say that this story lived up to my expectations.

Cocoa's Christmas Love is a clean, charming, Christmas romance. I blitzed through this sweet romance in an afternoon. It has a rescued puppy, flowers, romance, a charming small town and so much more. There are the usual ups and downs for the romantic relationship. Ivy has trust issues and Blake needs to determine if he wants a big city life of glitz or a small town change to make a difference. Puppy love for Christmas!

Ivy Bennett has everything she needs and wants with good friends and her flower shop. Her annual Wishing Blooms ceremony and donations to the community for Christmas make her happy and give her a sense of fulfillment. Her life in Evergreen Valley would be perfect except for a nagging desire for companionship.

Blake Shepherd has returned home to Evergreen Valley to regain his focus. His successful career in photography is overshadowed by the death of his close friend and partner. Blake has always been driven by a need to excel but he is starting to rethink his goals. He happens on a flower shop with unique and artistic arrangements with a line of people in front. They tell him it is the magical Wishing Blooms ceremony. Blake doesn’t believe in magic but the beautiful woman giving out the blossoms captures his attention and when he later finds her rescuing an abandoned puppy it provides a way to get to know her better.

I enjoyed this sweet, touching Christmas romance. Cocoa is a typical puppy with all the joy and work that come with one. Ivy and Blake make a beautiful couple but she has to overcome trust issues and he needs to realign goals. So, I was thrilled to write another sweet holiday romance set in the small, fictional town of Evergreen Valley. The characters truly came to life as I wrote the story.

Ivy Bennett, the heroine, owns a flower shop, and Blake, the hero, is a disillusioned photographer who has returned to his hometown. Of course, writing Cocoa, the adorable Pomeranian puppy, was a treat.

It is my hope that you will truly love this story, and feel immersed in this wonderful holiday season, or any time of the year when you are looking for a Happily-Ever-After.

You can never go wrong with hometown stories. I always look forward for stories from Josie. Capturing the towns warmth and the characters involved. And Author Josie Rivera is a masterpiece of that. She captures characters personalities and molds them perfectly into a Hallmark story.

Ivy, the owner from Wishing Blooms meets Blake a photographer relationships and hearts bloom. With Ivy wishing more for her flower shop and Blake searching for the right shot they come together with the spark from a rescued pup named Cocoa. And when plans seemed to have a chance of getting their wishes come true, will the friendship connection they bloomed end up as Magical as the flowers in her shop that captivated Blake.

A sweet story combined with all the elements for a Christmas cozy story. Author Josie Rivera does it again.

Cute Christmas read.
Story starts out with Ivy and she and another run the local florist shop in town.
They are struggling as the promotional piece was not very flattering at all. She's a bit concerned especially when hearing another chain floral shop will be coming to town.
Story also follows Blake who is a photographer, mostly environmental items but his grandfather had taken the promotional pictures for the piece in the magazine of Ivy's shop.
He does run into her as she's rescuing a little puppy in a dark alley and he takes a liking to the puppy also. She is so caring and even taking them to the vet.
Love the turmoil and how things have solutions.

This is such an adorable love story! Ivy rescues a little abandoned Pomeranian on a bitterly cold night, just as Blake happens upon them. Their chance encounter is the beginning of a sweet (and swoony) romance. Just as Ivy is beginning to open her heart and trust that Blake won’t abandon her her ex did, Blake receives the chance of a lifetime for his career. When Ivy stumbles upon the offer, it shatters her heart and her dreams, since it will ly mean Blake must move, leaving Ivy behind. Cocoa's Christmas Love is a page turning holiday read with relatable characters (Ivy and Blake), a not so nice reporter creating conflicts and a believable resolution. This reader enjoyed the charm of a small town setting at Christmas, Cocoa - a mischievous rescue puppy , flowers and romance. Recipe for Cocoa's favorite treat, Everett's Homemade Dog Friendly Gingerbread Cookies, is included.
